Sultry, soft, GROWLS, screams, screeches, strength, stage presence, class, professionalism, sex appeal, body, rhythm, blues, soul, gospel, reggae, rock, flawless vocals. It’s all a 10 here in a way no other living performer could’ve done!!! Beyoncé is a ROCK STAR. There is no way, if Act 3 is rock, that it won’t blow us all away! It’s her underrated strength!

My FAVORITE Beyoncé performance! Beyoncé is exceptional in anything, but this performance shows her capabilities as a veteran. She not only COMMANDS the stage but she shows how great her instincts are as a musician. The ad-libs, the growls, the riffs, the melisma. She’s such a legend!! Gary Clark Jr., Ed Sheeran, and the band were also fucking incredible. One of my favorite details is how Ed Sheeran is clearly starstruck by the Queen Bey. Perfect performance!

06:08 it‘s called „Growling“. A vocal technique which is extremely difficult and dangerous to use because with the wrong technique you can damaging your voice. How ever, Beyoncé‘s vocal growlings are so insane that she can used it multiple times without showing any signs of tiredness. She can even growl while using complex runs and scales. The fact that she growl her lungs out and comes back to clean vocals just shows how amazing she is. A vocal Master and one of the best vocalists in pop music history.

What’s so incredible about this is that it shows how much of a lover of music this woman is. She is an absolute STUDENT of music, adores the legends and greats that came before her and you can hear it in the way she sings. Rolling Stone said that in her voice holds the entire history of music and it’s true.
