You just made a memory pop back into my mind. Years ago at my old job there was a guy waiting on his food. I would have to shout peoples names as loud as I could bc I worked in the mall and it was sooo loud in there. So, after I did, he said wow! & then asked me if I knew how to sing. I was younger & had no idea you could tell someone could sing just by them raising their voice, so I found it strange but cool at the same time that he was able to figure it out lol I just want to add that I’m not telling this story to be boastful btw bc I’m insecure and shy as heck😅🤣& to this day, i still think my singing voice is okay/could use work.

I intuitively realized this when I was around 11 and I would sing in my room but I didn’t want anyone to hear me because I’d get in trouble for being too loud, and I realize that all my life I was told to dim my light and lower my shine. It helped me nurture my whistles and head voice…but I realized I needed I need singing lessons just to speak, because I’m soft-voiced and you can’t hear me when I speak unless I was mad lol but yelling was so odd to me that I would hurt my voice just by talking out loud if I was mad. So I forced my self to “sing” when I wanted to raise my voice. Eventually, people would ask me if I knew how to sing because I had a soft voice like Mariah and Arianna when speaking so I experienced almost the opposite, but the same? Lol

Your method is probably among the best I've come across online because of its intensity combining techniques from the hardest two genres: soul gospel and opera. You virtually train singers to command the stage and to sing with intention, power and natural projection. No other voice teachers I've seen take this clever approach because quite frankly not many are uniquely trained like you to master skills from both genres.
