Brian 'nem clearly know what they are doing. That arrangement along with Motion's sass and pizzazz was 💯🔥. Although Ocean sounds very good and competitive at about 144 (175 est total members), I think 165-170 carefully placed musicians would clear stadiums completely out. They are already leaving people #seasick and stunned. 🎵🎶🎵🎶 #Whoosh 🌊 And boy......I am already a fan of the new captain. ❤ I'm loving her sass and edge.

If Miguel bonds can convince 200+ kids to come to Itta Bena MS of all places then I don't think the location of the school is the issue. I don't know what the issue is but it's annoying. They sound great and they're executing but when they go up against other bands that are bigger and also executing they're at a disadvantage. Guess we gotta keep going with the "if they ever get numbers" line

A few things (In My Opinion): 1. It is said that Brian and his team want "musicians" . Why do y'all think Ocean sounds this good at about 140? I gather there's probably not many slackers in this bunch. This bunch actually desires to sound great/competitive even against the big boys. There are larger bands at larger and peer-sized schools - and not just HBCUs - that do not have sound quality this good. 2. Despite the great sound quality, arrangements and execution, I need more stereo. Maybe I'm being selfish, but I want to obliterate the haters - and they know who they are. I also know that bigger doesn't always yield better (or the best) results. 3. Donate. Donate. Donate. Help build fat scholarship packages that will be too good for prospective musicians to turn down.
