Same!! My sister used to LOVE this version of this song. We’d sing so loud together. She was unfortunately shot and killed (random act of violence) on Mother’s Day 2014, leaving behind my two nieces, who were just five years old and six months old at the time. I was able to see Jay and Beyoncé on their OTR II tour stop in New Orleans shortly after that (I think that same year or the following one). When they performed this song it tore me up thinking about her. I cried the whole time. She really was young forever, died just two weeks shy of her 30th birthday. It was already an emotional song but hit totally different when we lost her 😭💔.
