Sergeant Paul Henry Pelletier, my uncle and WWII hero, whose 8th USAF Flying Fortress, B-17 42-32003, named 'Shoo Shoo Baby,' a name it took from the song made popular by the Andrews Sisters, died on April 11th, 1944 with all his crew, being shot down over the skies of Rostock, Germany, and crashing into the Baltic Sea. Let's not forget our brave heroes of the US armed forces!

Oh how I wish the USA was as united and patriotic as it was during the Second World War, when the Andrew sisters sang many of their songs. It's nice to see Bing Crosby, Lou Costello and Shemp Howard of the Three Stooges in some the the shots. Brings back lots of good memories!

On my way with dad to yankee stadium 1965. I was 5. This came on the radio, dad blasted it loud,mom shaking it up in the passenger seat. One of my very first memories. Yankees lost to the orioles

I forget what year it was. Early 60s. I have a memory of my Dad kinda like that. He was in the Air Force and when he got out he went to college at the University of Illinois. One day we went to his homecoming football game, and they were playing Purdue. Well the game started with 12 men on the field and an offsides, and it ended 74 - 0 in favor of Purdue. But the hot chocolate was really good. 😏
