Another great guide. I just dont no how to get around aa. Obviously fly around it if possible but the later in the game it gets the more aa gets put up, especially after the first bombing run or when your winning against the enemy air player. And by 20 mins i feel my bombers are completely useless. Ive tried to figure this out in my own time against ai. Ive lost 200 bombers and wasnt able to do anything with air. I know not to keep them clumped up due to aoe but they just seem to die with just a few static aa or a dozen t2 aa units I am still a new player and i dont play air unless i have to, but i still want to learn all the roles i can. Im a 3 chev but have a few 100 hours learning the game against ai and watching youtube.

This is something I could have addressed better in my video ( and shall keep it in mind when I am casting a game next ). When you reach the point where you are starting to transition into bombers you want to be sending a few scouts out to probe defences, aim for places like the edge of the map or spots your team has pushed up a bit more and only go for the bombing run if you find a weak point. I think the best thing I could do is link you to this video where Blxssom actually cannot find a good entry point to get a bombing run off so he porously waits for a good engagement rather than throwing all his aircraft at a wall. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4eznqNvedWUl7Msi=M3LU7Fd5j0hmvzAd

Well done on the vid, you covered pretty much most of the important stuff for air players and then hopefully from there people can expand on their air knowledge/plays to try and get the most value in differing scenario's especially once they have their t2 air lab build proper they can opt for different plays (like torpedo bombers for a losing sea is very valid as well, as long as you ensure the enemy air does not bomb your team cause of over-investment into them). It slightly pained me to see that 1st match back though xd, the salamanders came in at a horrible timing/pond was a bit slow to respond and I didn't have the metal/time for quick t2 lab for a proper counter to it and later dying to the air cause of the delay that it all caused was big sad ^^. Anyway, I enjoy watching these and the commentary is spot on, keep it up!

lol I'm sorry for dragging it back up but trying to find games where a player executes the build without too much interruption and use it to secure the game is surprisingly rare. if you have any other builds for me too feature or advice I am all ears, the video I scrapped in favour for this one was terrible in comparison :)

A minor correction to your statement of Shurikens at 15 minutes is that Salamanders have a special property that negates 90(?)% of EMP attacks, meaning Shurikens are ineffective against specifically that unit.

I remembered there was something really odd with the interaction but I couldn't put my finger on it, Been a while but I don't remember there being many issues with the other units. Or is there >>??

@@BeyondAllReasonEMU The only 2 units that stand out to me from an EMP perspective is that Thors are immune and Salamanders are resistant. Commanders are resistant as well, but I dont really count them as a "unit" in the same way like a Salamander that comes out of a lab.

@@louisowens5723 yeah the actual control is something I was oblivious to until I spoke to syphos. I'm currently making one on arm air with liches covering a player he pointed out to me and there were a lot of things I noticed that I would never have even glanced at before. getting the perspective of a high level player is incredibly valuable.

yeah I was a little hesitant when saying that, I knew there was an odd interaction just couldn't remember what it was, I guess 5 to 10 would still be able to stop them eventually, would just be much less effective.
