Nice! That borrowed chord at the end of each phrase is so gothic it gives me vampire vibes🤘loved the slowed-down break before the finale too!

@@respiradnb Sure! I've been on a bit of a hiatus from my YT, I'm waiting to get a camera and some spare time to film some stuff lol.. but I'll gladly do that as soon as I'm back and all set up 🤘

Great work! I just wanted to point out that the KO II by Teenage Engineering is a fun machine, but not always easy to use for certain mixing tasks, due to its mixer, which feels a bit too much like a toy."

Thank you! By mixer you are refering to the input mixing or the group mixing?

iv got the j6 but not really found a use for it yet plus the mpc has the same features like chord more and styles and variations so I don't know if I'm ever gonna start to use it it sounds amazing tho classic juno 60 sounds
@respiradnbАй бұрын
I understand what you say. The MPC has those features, but you can’t make the release of your sounds as long as the ones on the Roland, unless you have a really long sample (correct me if I’m wrong ahaha). I thing the way that the Roland "converts" a sharp arp into a really long pad with reverb is kinda magical. Maybe you can experiment with it and give that device a little niche to cover. Sounds on it are very limited, but beautiful too. Thanks for the comment!

How did you sync these two together? I only see the audio out from the J6 to the KO II.

I watched a video from @KhantipolKasemsant and he made it easy and very clear. Copy the following and you'll find it (he did it with an S1, but it's the same for all the Airas): How to MIDI Sync Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O.II with Roland Aira Compact S-1

1:59 - What's causing the audio crackling issue? Is that the file from a popping record perhaps or from ko 2 adjustments for a connection/cable maybe making that sound? Is it a known issue?
@respiradnbАй бұрын
Oh, these are "snap samples" or some kind of mixture between clackle and claps (probably from a foley sample pack), but they are actual samples that I put there on the track on purpose, nothing to do with connection issues ahahaha Notice that it repeats at the end of every 4 bars. I think that is what you where refering to, isn't it?
