I have been following the progress of Aubrey DeGrey , Bill Faloon , David SinClair , George Church and the other main players who are trying to extend life for many years. I found the quote at the end that went something like " we are trying to stop death from cheating life" to be very inspiring. Many people criticize those working to extend life, without thinking about the fact that we use to only live half as long, and there is so much to see and do. Great doc, and Freeman is always the right person for these kinds of journeys ! Happy Holidays ......................

Also learning about Hinduism is really interesting as a Buddhist. They approach escaping samsara with a different approach and it is very interesting. I also understood Christianity a but deeper with the explaination of the sacrifice. I cannot wait to see more to come.

@@kendrac882 Hi. My Dad passed @ 87 yrs.old from Cancer…. But 3-4 months later, I’ve had numerous things (little), moved by my Dad’s spirit. Moved while I’m right there, other times I come back to find something turned. 2nd. Back in 2005, through a Psychic Medium I heard from a Great Aunt, naming 6 ppl in the family, and also Repeating what I had said standing in the middle of MY Kitchen about her, and not happy about a pretty precise thing! There are many unexplainable and miraculous things i've experienced in my life growing up. Like when i was a kid, i fell from a 50 ft. high cliff backwards and got up without a scratch. While swimming in a river, i was carried off by a pretty strong current and couldn't pull myself to shore and thought i was gonna die but suddenly a large log came out of nowhere and knock me straight towards the shore, i was a little hurt but managed to crawl out. And once when i was having a very high fever and couldn't eat or do anything, i heard a very clear voice in my dream telling me, "You're gonna be just fine when you wake up." and when i woke up, the fever was gone. Some might say these are just lucky coincidences but to me, these things that i've experienced are the works of God and his Angels. Amen. 🙏

3 years ago, I accidentally overdosed. All of the sudden, I saw a bright light then I saw all of my dead relatives smiling at me. But they all looked better than they did in life. I heard a voice so powerful and strong I can’t explain it. It was so loud but not loud and yet comforting but frightening all at the same time. It said.”Patrick. It’s not your time yet. You have a wife who needs u and u have a son to raise. It’s not your time. Go back to them. Then BOOM!!! I woke up in a hospital bed in the ER. I don’t know if it was real or a hallucination. I don’t think I deserved to see the beauty of all of that. I don’t know. Still makes me wonder to this day.

@@lynnbonnair8419 This documentary compiled different points of view from around the world. The only truth these views agreed upon is that God and soul are real. In school they teach us not to use one source, such as wikipedia but search in other sources too. And that was what this documentary was about. God is something so supernatural and divine we, mortals, cannot explain it with 100% certainty. That is why various cultures explain it in various ways. And the truth is somewhere in between. I died at 14. Thank God some Christians came around the neighborhood for their usual Saturday public evangelism. They heard my aunt screaming, and the neighbors crying as well, and then they came in and surrounded me with prayers... They prayed from around 11am until around 6pm and succeeded in calling me back to life. I had an indelible afterlife experience which was both sweet and really, really scary. Near death.experience testimonies are not all the same but the tunnel of light is always mentioned and it's not your time. Then you have people that see there dead loved ones and evil spirits. I always wondered why some spirits/ souls look like they didn't cross over. There's a YY video called a haunting in Georgia. A family found a house that was abandoned by previous owners. Most like because of the paranormal activity. Anyway the little girl played with a good spirit like a guardian he been dead for like 30 years . But there was also evil ones. The whole family would wake up with 3 claw marks on face or on there back. Highly recommend to watch. It's on the series Timelime.

After losing my three youngest children in August of 1987, I was reassured by God Himself that they were WITH HIM in Heaven. My youngest daughter Amanda had premonitions of her and her younger 2 brothers deaths just eight months before they were killed in a freak automobile accident. Amanda was highly spiritual. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 11. It would be shortly after her salvation, she would begin asking us if she and her brothers were going to die. This question would be asked whenever she or her brothers got ill or hurt by playing. We would reassure her that God intended that she would grow, marry and give us grandchildren. She was never afraid during these premonitions. After her and her younger brothers deaths, my oldest daughter and I had the same dream where Amanda would tell us not to cry. She assured us that they were in Heaven with Jesus. This is all I needed to hear. God is so merciful in that they never experienced any pain. In fact, the last sound their father heard was their laughter.

How is God merciful in this situation? If you believe in God and all that stuff then you must also believe he controls everything. If she was having premonitions 8 months prior then that tells me it was "pre-written" to happen. So I ask again- how is he merciful? Why take 3 innocent children? What would be that purpose? Mercy, to me, would be for them to be spared.

Sometimes it can even have contradictory views as Hinduism is not exactly a religion but a collection of philosophies and tradition that originated in the Indian subcontinent. So there are diverse views regarding a lot of things. Hope you'll find your answers one day.

I had a fractured to dust relationship with my father. He was a terrible, cruel, malicious father.I hadn't spoken to him in ten years till the day he died that very day when he passed away unknown to me. I had a nightmare with him talking so close to my ear that I could feel his warm breath on my ear. I was so irate that he was so close to me trying to talk to me, and didn't want to listen to him, nor I can't remember what he said. I woke up at 4am upset that I dreamt with him and just disturbed he wanted to talk to me, because he could care less to talk to me ever as long as I was out of sight he appreciated it. While trying to go back to sleep unable to it because I was angry I wasted a dream with him. My house phone rang at 6:30am it was my sister telling me he had passed. I went back to sleep rather quickly I felt no sadness at all. When I woke up all my negative feelings for him disappeared I had no anger anymore but forgiveness. After that moment I knew he came to me to apologize for the pain he caused me. I just knew there's a moment that people passing come to say goodbye. I heard it before but never believed it until that moment.

Plus many years ago my brother was in a hit and run accident in college, in Boston. He was die with a fractured skull and was in a comma. The doctors said he wouldn't last the night .....Guess what he heard us praying as he went through the tunnel to the light. But he said our prayers pulled him back. He is still with us. I got this overwhelming sense to turn my head to the right and there my 10 year old daughter by my bed absolutely terrified. My mom died in 2019 and my sister said when she died she kept talking to somebody my sister couldn’t see in the ceiling. She said she heard her say she wasn’t ready yet the day before and the next day she smiled at my sister and stared up at the ceiling before taking her last breath. I have visits with her every other week or so unless I really need her help and then she comes in my dreams when I need her or miss her.

I was in a serious car accident. When I went unconscious, I went immediately into dream mode. I had not been thinking about car accidents nor seen the other car coming, but, I was dreaming I was in the only car accident I had previously witnessed. I realized then, that your brain can register what is happening even though your 5 senses didn't alert you. I believe, When one goes unconscious, the brain tries to make sense of what's happening and displays it as a dream. Near death experiences is when all 5 senses fail but your brain has not yet shut down.

My grandmother came to me in a dream 2 nights after she passed. I knew I was dreaming and even said to her "Nana? You're dead!" She replied " I know darling. I need you to tell your mother to stop being silly. I'm Ok. I'm happy." My mother wasn't coping with the loss. I rang her the next morning and gave her the message (I was flying down that day). She admitted that her mum tried to get through to her the same night she came to me. My mum felt calmer and was able to cope until I got there. It's a wonderful and reassuring that has stayed with me until this day.

Sounds very familiar! I experienced an NDE on 13 FEB 1983. It was the most significant experience of my life...I came "face to face", so to speak, with what we call "GOD". I didn't want to return to my body...I still get the shivers when I think of it!!!

I love these episodes! Morgan Freeman is the perfect storyteller. I like to pretend in these episodes that he actually IS god, and he’s going around interviewing the world of humans about the religions and beliefs they created about him, and I like to think he is fascinated by our imaginations and creativity :D

At the age of about 10 years outside of my body, looking down, I saw myself from above. I was laying on the front lawn during the middle of a sunny day. The experience lasted, what seemed like minuets. I perceived that I and my body were two separate distinct entities. God call me by name and speaks to me directly. I've seen my grand mother's mother, while with my grand mother doing maywork' after her mothers' death, standing outside the graveyard behind the church of her burial. She seemed 10 feet tall and 10 time as big as in real life. Moments before I heard a piano playing, singing and a preacher preaching. I pull myself up on a window's ledge, and saw only the sun rays shining through the windows on the other side of the church building and heard no sounds. My grand mother told me to get down and come here. I got down and heard the same sounds again. I perceived God to be real and believe that to this very day. There are many instances to confirm my belief. Like consciousness of reincarnation and seeing demons and the unseen.

A literal library, along with lived experience examining faith in all its forms ..beautiful. Morgan Freeman, Sir, the most interesting or fascinating aspect of this doco that I took away, at the beginning of 2023, is the pure light, joy and curiousity you show to each person and subject. A gentleman, who has the qualities of wisdom and lived experience, and a healthy fascination with human faith and spirituality. Bless. Thank you for investing in this programme. I love the ending ... Morgan Freeman as its best. "we can all become eternal like the stars." In the words of The Christian Bible ... The righteous shall shine forth like the sun in The Kingdom of their Father. And they that turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. (Matthew 13:43 & Daniel 12:3)
