Why do they want everyone to put their coti in the treasury? Are they using it to earn more money with their various projects like a bank lending dollars? Is having your coti in the treasury like owning stock in a company?

Are they lending out coti out for various purposes when it's on the treasury, like a bank? If so, isnt there systemic risk if one borrower defaults? How do they return everyone's coti? I'm a bill and have a healthy position but don't understand all of these dynamics.

@@leemiddlekauff680 If everyone is putting their COTI into the treasury then the Supply of COTI on the market becomes much lower, which leads to the price going up very fast. The idea is that, if all of COTI's ecosystem is geared towards incentivising users COTI and fees being staked in the treasury, it will increases the value of COTI project overall further enriching the ecosystem, then the ecosystem will continue to attract liquidity which COTI can use for further utility. Whether the treasury will be lending out or anything I do not know, I have not heard so. I imagine it could be used for a DAO though, and if so it will be something that the community could vote to decide what to do with a portion of the COTI in treasury. Whether it is lending or funding of new projects etc.

I didn't get the example of the treasury. If I own 1% of treasury and when the treasury doubles I can take out double the amount? I don't get it. Can someone explain?

I'd think it simply would mean this, if the treasury doubles in value then whatever your 1% was earning is now essentially paying out 2% but the amount of coti you stake always remains the same unless they also introduce auto compounding !
