Saw these folks live in London last night with Amaranthe. Fantastic energy, stage presence and quality vocals and musicians. Amaranthe was the draw. IMHO, Beyond the Black absolutley nailed it on the night. Best of the evening.

Fully agree. Was there for for both acts but was slightly disappointed with Amaranthe whereas BTB feel like they have stepped up a gear since I last saw them. If I'm honest, I'd have been quite happy if Amaranthe still couldn't have performed and BTB did an extended set

Another great one - absolutely love BtB. I don't know if anyone else hears it, but the music (to me) is like what Savatage was doing around Gutter Ballet through Edge of Thorns. Cinematic, huge, dynamic music made all the more amazing by Jennifer Haben's vocals. Can't wait for the full album.

Jennifer Haben is one of the best female. Vocalists on the symphonic metal scene . Beyond the black are just so underated in my opinion . I fell in love with her vocals the first time I heard her . I'm a big fan of withintemptation & similar bands like Edge of paradise . To many to mention . While floor from withintemptation gets a lot of recognition for being the best vocalist on the scene Jennifer in my opinion is floors equal . At this stage I actually prefer beyond the black so far as there stuff is heavier than withintemptation . It would be awesome if beyond the black rocked over to Australia at some stage . Hell yeah .
