Been playing Boom Beach for a long long time. I remember the times when this game was basically in the SuperCell graveyard ready to be put down... and somehow its still here and getting new updates. Even though I don't renew my instant training every month and clear every single warship season, I'm still very happy that this game is very much alive. Thank You Zmot for all that you do dor this game and community.

I have paid for Instant training pretty constant for the past 6 months or so. I'm now a General but I won't be renewing again because of the current issues I'm seeing with the base attacks against me. I can lose 20points by both player and bot attacks, but then when I go to take back the captured bases, I often don't even get back to the point total I was originally at - even though I should have gained "x" amount of points more because of the # of player attacks against me. It's been a month of this after reaching the General level and even with constant retaliations, I've barely made any progress. The Instant training is also too dame expensive. If it was $5 for a month, I wouldn't even bat an eye and I bet they'd get more people buying to offset the reduced cost

In Europe almost 12 euro for IT, last warship game it costed too much diamands (changing should be in a group) the fun flows away.

If your general and low lvl ya you will get constant attacks lose the medals go down rank until your maxed then pay for instant training to get more medals

I get attacked 5-10 times aday. Which is way more than the amount of bases I get per day. At the end of the day, I end up getting into the Negative because of lack of bases on my map.

Are you clearing your map of not only player bases but non-player bases as well? My experience has been as a maxed player with 1250vp that you need to clear your map every day or couple days. I’m always powdering my statues and attacking bases and that is how you climb.

I have nothing but respect for you and the other Boomers Beach KZbinrs. They are very helpful and informative. I guess I’m the odd man out, but as a maxed player I’m ok with the update. Are there some concerns? Of course, but I believe with the new dev team more good things will come. Nuno seems to hint at that on his Twitter now known as x account that more good things are coming. I do believe Nuno passes on our concerns. I think Nuno has been one of the best community managers.

One really important note…when SC does something irregular like pushing back the next warships season one week, they need to properly compensate the players who paid in advance for IT. It feels a bit like getting robbed when that happens. Yes, IT is also useful on the main island, but let’s be real here we all buy it for warships. A simple solution would be putting an offer for discounted IT in the shop, say a month for $6.99 instead of $9.99. A little good will goes a long way toward keeping the paying customers happy.

A+ video for the Firefly reference! Although this update is lame, let’s not forget they completely changed the meta with LRs and CLs. 3x speed in pvp and dr t and crab is epic. They need to move the creator code entry point to the front of the shop so people see it before they buy. It happens to me once in a while too wheremy IT runs out while im playing warships and i just quickly renew it and realize i didnt put in a code afterwards. I feel like we would all have a better chance at remembering it if it was at the beginning of the shop lol

The other thing ill say is, since the boom pass will speed up progression for lower levels, theyll become max level players quicker and the boom pass will become irrelevant for them too. Theyre definitely gonna need a new event or some challenges… just other things they can tie into the pass to make it worth it for people to buy. New game modes. Maybe like a clan capital feature like in CoC where the whole tf builds/upgrades a base together and goes to war with that base against other tfs. I have faith tho, surely theyre not investing all the money into the new dev team and updates just to leave it alone and let it die

I'm gonna give my views for boom beach based on their other supercell game - hayday. There is no upper limit for xp so people can continuously go up which doesn't bore max players. Also as recently as this month they brought in a leaderboard for 2 weeks and gave us 20 tasks a day to complete and get points to rank up on that leaderboard which have rewards to the first , 5-10, 10-20 and 20-50th on the LB and the rewards were good like diamonds and other stuff that's super useful. They also made the leaderboard in such a way that all the 100 people on your LB would be your xp level ( for boom they could do hq level). Like having a 1 week season which happens in between ws seasons where the top prize is 1000 dimes and the other prizes are smaller. Plus make IT passes for ws only like when you buy it ,you buy it till end of the current season. Whatever day you buy it on ,it is according to how many days are left and the price is relative. Then can do the 1 week pass for crab and this new Lb event. For tf vs tf we could probably get it from Clash of clans . That's self explanatory. My suggestions based on what they already have in other games and stuff that works. (Some of the tasks for the boom pass seem really tough and might require IT to complete so essentially you have to have IT along with the pass? Ouch)😢

I mean we can through it get the amounts we want from gold, wood or anything and not all the whole amounts from everything like that. 2)the instant training or buying diamonds, they can make it manually. Fellow Canadian here. About 7+ years ago I started both COC & BB. I went through pretty far with both the of them, then left BB and focused on COC. I’ve just come back to BB (2 weeks ago, totally lost right now) I started watching your vids because I had know idea how to play anymore. I am about a lv 50?, as much as I appreciate them giving us lower lvs, I agree that the max lvs need to be acknowledged for keeping the game going. I’ve been invested in COC & other games that I enjoyed. I’m usually a free play person; I don’t spend money on COC except for the monthly pass. I will consider spending money to be good at BB, but I need to know the best place to spend it. I limit myself to $10 a month. Instant training seams like the best choice right now?

Hi Anon, Can I ask you a favour? Since you’re close to the technical staff of Boom Beach. For 3 years in a row I on and off asked the Boom Beach team to fix the left arm or the crab. 🦀💪🏻 They said they would, but they still haven’t. The left underarm (with the drill) is not surfacing or even showing when you scout before an attack. Zooming in or out… doesn’t matter, the under arm seems to be amputated. It doesn’t affect an attack, but it’s a cosmetic flaw. I like the crab to be 100% because I like the graphics. Maybe you can make the Boom Beach team aware? Hey ZMot. Nice video. I left the game a few months ago and I’m a bit intrigued about these new updates. But it seems all cosmetic (except the missions tab) which i dont think is enough to bring me back. - My fav part of warships was competing and strategizing with my TF (shoutout J@OR) for the global 500 bragging rights. My best ever finish was 55 global or something. When that global trophy came out it had the whole world clambering to get it. Skins wont bring me back, but I think a top 500 local trophy would. With that being said, I’m glad the community has something to look forward to with this new dev team. But man, so sad that all we wanted for so many years is a bug free game.

1:03 LIKE ME! This update is the best opportunity to REMOVE instant training for the game. Boom pass offers reduced training time already (does it? it certainly can), maybe decrease default training times of some troops (pls make it proportional to housing space), maybe introduce some classified items (like the training potion in COC) but this IS the perfect window. They won't go that way obviously because revenue but I always thought that IT made the game too easy. I don't know how far they'd go with skins, coc has them for bases and heroes. So maybe is doing it for bases and troops.

I have a love hate relationship with this game but one thing that has always been incredible is the community..... Helldivers two has apparently just reshaped battlepass formats (in short they never time out you simply select which one to work on as they come out.). Super Cell need to take a look at this if they know whats good for them.

They should have include some kind of currency in the game to buy the boom pass so that once someone buy that pass it will give that currency back in the procees and if someone complete the entire seoson they will be able to buy next pass for free with that currency (just like pubg) it will keep players hooked

I have played since day 2. I had one clan stolen from me because I made all members a co-leader. Surprise, co could kick the leader then demote everyone. I complained and they pointed out it was in the FAQ it was possible. So they essentially told one of my teammates how to steal the game from me. I still play everyday, run a clan and have fun. For me the only thing worth paying for was instant training. I'll decide if I pull the plug after this update.

The removal of hourly crates is completely absurd. Task forces already struggle to find players, and at least with hourly crates, intelligence could be gathered. Now that’s also being taken away from us. I believe developers are more focused on filling their pockets than considering players. In this update, it’s all about advertising revenue and Game Pass money. There’s no new type of warfare, soldiers, defense, or events-just money, money, money. Also, I find it pointless for all partner content creators to hype this up as a massive update; when the update arrives, the only thing that will be significant is more reactions.

How about making the overall map bigger with more islands and more things to conquer. I've been playing for a long time I'm not up at the top players cuz I never played it that hard but I've been playing for a long time I'm bored with it how about war tanks or maybe war choppers. Maybe let us pick our own opponent if you both agree you can attack each other. I don't want to see more things added into the mouth that we've got it's already crowded so why can't they make it more places to conquer and different Rewards or like a supply line from Island to Island you own that can be broken there's so much they could do but it's still just the same bottles over and over and over they need to change it I'm getting ready to pull out I'm bored with it do something Boom Beach

Well, I’ve been saying the same thing. they should make the islands bigger and add more things to and new buildings to make the higher players more strategic in their attacks that would add a level of difference absolutely. but I too am about to quit this game because I’m just so fed up with the redundancy of it and with it being stagnant in the way of there’s not much point. I am a leader of an alliance or four people and I think that’s probably the only reason nice stay is just to run and op but it’s so stagnant. Now it’s like with the point can’t use the reward for anything. Crabs are the same thing so is the Dr T and other sub missions too. Boring and pointless. I don’t care about trying to run a pointless Gambit trying to put my name on the top of the leaderboard it’s pointless. I play to have fun and I’m not really having fun anymore. I feel your pain. The game. I’ve always played it free but now it’s just so redundant It’s ridiculous..

I feel when it comes to the use of skins they could use more on the main base as well the warships season. When I hear battle pass I think of what happened with overwatch and fortnight yes it still is played heavy but the games have become kinda not very entertaining and I know a few people who don't play as much so I would be careful with it. I still say when it comes to maxed player base the best idea would be to expand the base just a bit so the artillery can be spread out which I feel would make attacks and little more challenging. The final thing I think would go over well and probably bring inactive players back would be the ability to bring personal skins and memes type caricatures, my main base is named reapers revenge so if I could bring the character from the show "The grim adventures of billy& Mandy" I would have the grim reaper wondering around my base maybe he would say something to you about failed attacks.

True the average player isn't that good when making attacks we all have seen a player make multiple attacks on are maxed base but I have seen some good players defeat my defense and they were lower level players also many people boost statues when they decided to clear their map and with that I feel it would it a bit more difficult to beat it if your a lower level player but not impossible and the base expansion would only be for maxed players and would require a completion of some new tasks as well bringing in personal meme characters of course they would have to approve by super cell

I have been here for a while and there are parts of the game I like and other parts that I do not. Hopefully they will improve and add new things to the game. CoC adds new content regularly and is able to stay fresh through events and content updates. That is not happening here in BB yet. One glaring difference between the two games is the price of things. IT should not cost $10 if you are going to charge another $8 for the boom pass. I get that they are trying to make money off the game, but that is too much for one game. I can buy three gold passes for CoC that offer good value for money. I do not see that in the boom pass. Maybe they can tweak it a bit and it will get there?

While I am happy Boom Beach is still going strong, I am not a strong player as I work a tough trade and time is limited. In saying that I lack a lot power against other players (aka an easy kill). My beef is there are so many top tier players that getting a win is next to impossible in Warships (even if I follow your instructions) this last WS I only got to lvl 9 (due to lack of time and low power on start). I am going to assume that new players will face the same issues, thus turn them away from playing long term. I stuck with BB because I like the game (4+ years as of today) Pay to play ya I got sucked in but all for the fun of the game. I would like to see BB match HQ levels against similar HQ levels. (+/- 5-10 levels) It at least gives you a fighting chance. Play hard....Have fun!

if you lack power against other players make sure you check your statues first - huge benefits can be made there. They've made the upgrade focus on offense which *should* help new players. That being said matchmaking needs improvements in a big way.

In Europe almost 12 euro for IT, last warship game it costed too much diamonds (changing should be in a group) the fun flows away. I play for several years know and much of comment below i agree. I have max everything, and changing of skins doesn't make it more fun. The sub never bings up the money box or 1000 diamands. Looks like BB just wants my money.

I quit playing warships sometime in the 30’s. Way to repetitive and boring. I’ve maxed out 2 accounts and am level 70 HQ on my 3rd. If they don’t add more for the the higher end players when I max this account I’m done with boom beach.

I agree but I also know a lot people who are struggling with high food costs, mortgage rates, car payments, etc etc. Lots of people counting pennies so the onus is on supercell to show that there's good value there. I hope they can do it.

I think the easy way to shake up main game would be a Super Boost feature. Defenses get super boosted and basically unbeatable unless we use a new troop saboteur which will sabotage the booster first. So we would have to do a whole separate attack just to disable the super booster. It would be tricky and require skill since saboteur would basically be like one troop using super tiny smokes to not be detected by a new sniper defense. What do you think Anon?

Supercell already ruined Brawl Stars by adding a monthly pass to the game. It already existed but was over 60 days or so and was value for money. Then they changed it to 30 days for the same price, and expected everyone to just go with it. Supercell keep killing games, in many cases before they even make it out of beta, but sometimes like Brawl Stars they kill them slowly by gouging the players.

I love this game... I have a fully maxed out account but my Task Force was sitting around 35 members out of 50 & decided to start a 2nd account... Yep I pay for instant training & 2nd builder on my Mini account but will probably stop once I'm maxed out... Currently at Level 62 but now updating landing craft for 2 Scorchers... Once this is done I will start smahing the levels out... I would like to have something new for maxed accounts but I will continue to play even if it doesn't... I know lots who are dropping off though...
