I was always got shocked by habits of our sisters chewing gum, swearing, laughing loud, and gossip I don't have friends because I tell them or staying silent they find me boring 😶

When women become elderly, a lot of times they start swearing. I think this is a reaction to not being taken seriously anymore. They swear to prove they are still in the game. But, it's unattractive and undignified. I hope we can do something else. Sometimes, a pointed silence can do more to prove you are aware and engaged.

Assalamu Alaikum sister! I remember your comment from my Khadijah video! It's been a while, how has your journey as a revert been going for you? 💖

@HerDeenDunya_ Wa Alaikum Assalam. It's been going well. I'm learning something new every day. I finally memorized all the Arabic words to the daily prayers and no longer need a cheat sheet. I'm about 63% through my, Learn to Read the Qur'an, course. I'm on Section 2, Unit 2 of Duolingo's Arabic course, and although my pronunciation needs much improvement, the glottal letters/sounds are significantly better. I've gotten into the habit of doing dhikr each day and feel odd if I don't do dhikr after each prayer. My du'as are coming along. I'm learning to incorporate the different names of Allah based on the situation or need. I found a mosque that I really like. I had knee surgery 2.5 months ago, and once I'm able to drive again, I'll go more often. Ironically, I miss being around other Muslims and praying as a group. I'm also getting more comfortable wearing the hijab; in- sha-Allah, one day I'll wear it full time. 😊

Sister can u pls tell me if logical thinking is masculine according to islam? Or it’s a old western idea?
@HerDeenDunya_2 ай бұрын
I don't think that applies according to Islam. Sure, on average women are more emotional, but we also have the ability to think logically as well. To say ONLY men can think logically would be too much.
@BabulAlamgir-bp2db2 ай бұрын
Thank you💞🌸🫶🏻😭.If u r a wise women or intelligent women u can think logically without any hesitation.

Myself, I am usually unemotional in a crisis and sometimes fall apart later when I'm alone. It looks odd to people. I am a logical thinker and I think most women are. Women of my age were seldom given the opportunity to think or were told they didn't have to and that a man would do it for them. My mother used to tell me I thought too much.

@@HitherandYarn Thinking logically has nothing to do with gender. It's an basic survival thing thay everyone has. It’s just an old Western idea. Women have high emotions only in some matters not in everything
