How did the Yautja develop technology if all they do is hunting?

Read that they were smaller an slaves used for hunting. They got mutated to be better sport and the 1st real yautja was all white an lead a revolt. They kept there oppressors tech and made thier whole society around hunting. Just like spartan where slaves faught back and became a military state after. Cause and effect.

I dont think the 1st predator had honour , he sneaked around in the trees and used his plasma caster, his only honorable kill was billy on the tree bridge wich we didnt get to see , now predators the one who fought the yakuza guy that was honour .
