It would be really entertaining to see your version of a Ridley Scott type Alien with a mix of H.R. Giger and The 1982 mix of The Thing. I mean fuck, what you're doing is amazing to say the least.

Animals Eating Animals sent me to check this out! 😉 It was worth it. The combination of the Kubrick-inspired visuals and the sounds (music, FX) is really well done. And the pace is very comfortable.👍

You can see the influence of the various sources in the training set. And the use of prompts comes up with a very human-like period sci-fi aesthetic of the late 60s & early 70s. There's possibly elements of Kubrick & 2001, Gerry Anderson & Space:1999, and perhaps some Tarkovsky & Solaris too. Plus sci-fi book cover art, maybe some John Berkey, and Boris Vallejo... And that makes sense, as human art is all inspired and derived from previous influences. What's amazing is that (weak)AI & ML produces such results (albeit with human guidance and initiative) without any actual awareness, consciousness, or independent executive agency. And subconsciously, THAT may be what angers many people or is what they fear. Because it's not that AI/ML can do this without actual metacognition, but it may indicate humans aren't actually as "conscious" as we believe we are. Much of "who we are" may well just be layered neural networks creating highly variable but ultimately deterministic output too...

That’s exactly what we are, the large language models work on a neural net based on ours.

@@kevlarvest7375 yeah, there are very few productions that have come out of Hollywood that I would even consider cinema. The rest of its just fucking content. In all honesty though, I'd be hard pressed to be working in any sort of environment where there's a bunch of rich as fuck famous assholes living it up on a hill, the base of which is overflowing with some of the worst poverty I've ever fucking seen IRL. I really enjoy your work and imagination and the sounds and visuals you use. My only critique is maybe each bit of work is a bit to long and you post so often maybe it devalues the work and people know what coming. Keep people wanting more I say

I truly appreciate your insight and I think you may be right. I will say though, to whoever else reads this. That I’ve been working on this beast for 2 months… and I tend to work on multiple projects simultaneously and then drop them all at once…. Which is not very smart in retrospect. I needed this, thanks again🦊
