Great initiative. Accompanied by great concerns also. I am just curious. The surname really made me curious. I had the privilege of meeting a family from Ghana who stayed here in South Africa for a very long time. We served together in the same church. Unfortunately they had to return to Ghana. We miss them dearly. Their surname is spelled differently. They were the Cudjoe family. Very good people. Honest hard working people. Much love for Ghananian people❤

60 days stay given to visitors is not enough to establish any roots or do business. 6mths visitors stay given at the airport will help us stay longer and explore business opportunities and build on it.

Instead of turning Ghana into the Thailand of Africa where people come for lewdness and pure lusts of the flesh, let's direct this vibrant energy into real development where the youths will get employment after leaving school. Ghana is the only country in Africa with a great pool of skilled workers but the country is not benefitting from it because the jobs are simply not there. Every three out of 5 Ghanaians you meet in Europe was either a welder, mechanic , a hairdresser, barber or a nurse in Ghana. Why have we all left the shores of the country to engage in cleaning jobs in Europe?.

Why don't you start by creating employment and employ me?

But imagine a statement like "Ghana is the ONLY country in Africa with a great pool of skilled workers", are you even giving yourself a chance if you can't properly assess the landscape and how you fit in it?

This year of return has made Ghana extremely expensive for the natives. These people come to Ghana and spend few days and buy whatever at whatever price and those prices stay put for Ghanaians forever to live on. In 2018, a bottle of beer was. Cedis 6 but now it’s Cedis 25 We’re dead as a nation

It’s amazing that our TV presenters always want to be in some Eurasian suits while ‘visitors’ are always in our African wear. Do you know the message it sends to the guest? We have to reverse this mental colonialism of us wanting to look more Eurasian than African.
