This is such a great cover. You captured the feeling of hearing the song for the first time again. Fisherman’s Horizon is one of Uematsu’s most magical songs. Nobuo Uematsu is the greatest musician of our time

YESSS SO MUCH YES!!!!! I love hearing your voice again LadyReemz! The original still has a special place in my heart but there's room in my heart for this one too. I needed this today. I lost someone very important to me on March 20th in 2017 and my world hasn't been the same since. The 20th of March hasn't been a bright/good day for me mentally ever since. This year, however, I had a much better day. Thanks, at least is partially due to this cover. I've listened to it several times today. I've spent the day trying to voice my words about the song to speak about it more constructively and eloquently beyond just blind praise, but I can't find the words for that right now, so I will do so later. I felt like I needed to at least say something today though, regardless, because the gratitude I have for LadyReemz making a cover and writing lyrics up for this song based off of my commented request almost 15 years ago now needs to shared. I've been thankful for that cover for almost half of my life now and it hasn't been something I've taken for granted. Thank you for this, it's wonderful to hear the full version of your medley version of Fisherman's Horizon. Beyond the Shores indeed

My dear ❤️ words cannot express how much it makes me happy to know the impact of the song on you. You are the reason everything relating to FH began and thats why i can never forget you. I am so sorry for your loss. And i can relate, as my brother who was my FF8 playmate died many years ago. He was the one who got me into it. I dont play it or sing any of its music without remembering him. It was and still is devastating for me..but it is things like this, that make me remember the good times we had playing and listening to the game together… ❤

When I was a child, I loved the game Final Fantasy VIII, and I've always been deeply fond of its music. Seven years ago, as I entered the workforce, I continued my habit of listening to music while working. It was during this time that I discovered Marc Papeghin's videos on KZbin and fell in love with his FF8 Medley. One song from it left a particularly strong impression on me, and I've longed for a full version. Now, seven years later, my wait is finally over. I am immensely grateful to Marc for his comment reminding me, and I'm truly moved by this. It all feels like a dream, and I can hardly believe that I'm finally hearing the full version. I'm incredibly thankful to Marc and LadyReemZ for their dedicated work on this song and video!

Pourtant, je suis vraiment beaucoup de musiciens/compositeurs orientés FF (dont certain·es découvert·es via tes medleys) mais je suis généralement plus enthousiasmé par tes contenus... L'habitude et la nostalgie sans doute... Je suis tes vidéos depuis 12 ou 13 ans depuis le medley FFVI ou FFVII j'sais plus trop 😅
