I was so blessed to have these words with my wife before she passed I told her that we could call on Jesus again to save her...and just like always he would hear and he would come... but this time we will ask him to save you from the pain. I talked to her about taking his hand and going with him and not to look back because I would for sure one day follow her and find her. I told her I already knew where she was going and I knew how to get there. I promised her that we would be together again. I told her our son would join us because she had taught him the way to Heaven also. At this he replied”it’s true mom, I know the way and when that day comes when we see each other we will just take off running to each other and we will run fast because your legs will be new. We will just run fast to each other and hug. Linda looked deep into our eyes and tried to nod. We had the peace that only Jesus could have given us. Thank you Lord. We told her over again how we loved her, how we would miss her, and how we would live a life to honor her. I held her hand till Jesus took it from me and put it in His. Surrounded by the love of her Husband, Son, and Best Friend or dear Linda went Beyond the Sunset to wait on us. 🌸Linda Nelson 8/15/49 - 4/28/19🌸 💕REMEMBERED/LOVED/MISSED💕 I pray that everyone finds this same hope and promise in Jesus Christ and Gods love.

I love that song. It was sung at my mom's funeral. Everytime I hear it, I cry. When in church and that song is sung, it takes all the power I have not to cry. U have a beautiful voice.

1. Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning, When with our Saviour Heav'n is begun. Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning; Beyond the sunset When day is done. 2. Beyond the sunset, No clouds will gather, No storms will threaten, No fears annoy; O day of gladness, O day unending, Beyond the sunset, Eternal Joy. 3. Beyond the sunset, A hand will guide me To God, the Father, Whom I adore; His glorious presence, His words of welcome, Will be my portion On that fair shore. 4. Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion, With our dear loved ones Who've gone before; In that fair homeland We'll know no parting, Beyond the sunset For evermore! Should you go first and I remain, To walk the road alone, I'll live in memory's garden, dear, With happy days we've known. In Spring I'll wait for roses red, When fades the lilac blue, In early Fall when brown leaves call I'll catch a glimpse of you. Should you go first and I remain, For battles to be fought, Each thing you've touched along the way Will be a hallowed spot. I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile, Though blindly I may grope, The memory of your helping hand Will buoy me on with hope. Should you go first and I remain, To finish with the scroll, No length 'ning shadows shall creep in To make this life seem droll. We've known so much of happiness, We've had our cup of joy, And memory is one gift of God That death cannot destroy. Should you go first and I remain, One thing I'd have you do: Walk slowly down that long, lone path, For soon I'll follow you. I'll want to know each step you take That I may walk the same, For some day down that lonely road You'll hear me call your name.
