I have been watching several youtube videos of Gabor Mate and Jordan Peterson. Their ideas on childhood trauma is so vastly contradictory, that It makes me think who's wisdom can you trust really? These people have millions of followers and they are like god figures to a lot of therapists. I think they both have unconscious bias, as they both have adulterated their wisdom with the politics of left and right.
