another look #3 - alternate take of "OUTSIDE HELP" - (2011)

A look at an early draft of the video that would be titled within EMH as OUTSIDE HELP. I know what you mean! I liked what the re-recording looked like, and how this all goes together, too, but it might have been laying on the "Vin is dishonest and Evan's fucked" too early, maybe. [J]

On a side note, while this would have made for a great video, it would have revealed too much too early in the series. While there may have been a lingering suspicion of Evan being HABIT, this would have confirmed it too early

Oh this was SO cool! Even though I really like the angle y’all ended up using (the two spy cam footage and phone call) the actual fight and habit related stuff was really neat here. Alas, it was too early in the story to have this video be the final, and I am sad because wowzah this video has so really neat Evan and Habit scenes. (The final was still super neat though, don’t get me wrong. Y’all do such an awesome job with everything y’all do :D )

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. It's the part where Evan says that Vinny was the one who put the cameras in their houses. It makes me wonder how that fits into this whole thing, because unlike the other scenes we got to see more of (the extended part of the Alex in the car scene where Vinny "accidentally" takes a wrong turn, or the part in :D where HABIT tells Jeff that he's the guardian), this one just flatout isn't in the series, and it felt kind of out of place. I've always wondered what it was from, and it being from an alternate version of OUTSIDE HELP is quite interesting.
