Since Plaint cannot take evidence under Order 6 Rule 2 of CPC so evidence has to be given through Affidavit-in-Evidence (AIE) under Order 18 Rule 4 of CPC. Many lawyers draft AIE by copying the paragraphs of Plaint and converting in First Person. This is not correct. AIE for Plaint should be drafted differently considering Admissions and Objections in Written Statements. I request Sir to give a lecture on drafting of Affidavit-in-Evidence for Plaintiff and for Defendant. This is much needed. Thank you.
