Good tips :) My advice is always carry enough extra clips for your car body with you. theyre easily lost and can ruin your day out, lol

I made my own body clip tether things, I just get a piece of Gorilla tape, stick it sticky side to sticky side, and cut a strip a couple mm wide down the length of it. I then loop it through the loop in the body pin, tape it, and tape the other end to the body shell. Boom, super cheap, takes like

Another newb mistake is not giving yourself enough space, with a vehicle you have not driven before. And then proceeding to smash into the nearest pole or concrete wall on your first run.

Small advice from me. Always take a small Tool kit with you this will save your day and nerves when you are out in the field.

This might be a dumb question. Coming from FPV quads, we use XT60s on quads pulling 120+ amps. Do you really need something like an XT90 for a 4s+ car?

I have flown quads as well. If you look at the lipos like the Tattu R-Line's 1550mah, it comes with a XT60 on the battery. Its a 120c battery wich means a discharge rate of 186amps. Why would Tattu put a XT60 rated for only 60 amps on it? If it was an issue, they would have made the battery 40c which puts you in at 62amps. I think a XT60 is more than sufficient.

Its why i like my reeper, has a good balance of both plastic and metal, and i have spares of everything but rod ends, i think it would be a great rc for you to test and review and upgrade
