Please make it as hard as possible. Playing on „hard“ should be a nightmare and make you sweat! If people are more casual and want a more chill experience they can play the campaign on „easy“ or „medium“ mode. Looking forward to it!

@@Ruudje1878 Yeah I saw it. But that is what "hard" should look like imo. If you want it more easy then dont play it on "hard" :D In the past every campaign i played was pretty easy doable on "hard" that's why ;)

What I like to do is only fight with Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn, and Boromir before Balin's Tomb. That way they will hit rank 2 and subsequently collect the first 4 treasures for rank 3. Then Gandalf ranks up to 2 before picking up the final treasure. Once you get to Balin's Tomb you cannot go back, and once you get to the stairs you cannot go back. Keep up the good content, we all enjoy watching :)

Currently I'm enjoying Age of the Ring campaign mod of BFME 2 and it's superbly well detailed, much more than BFME 1 with many more misions in between the original campaign. Moria is very very prolonged, for example.

Yes, AotR campaign is amazing and very cinematic. And Moria is a nightmare with its huge labirynth and almost 0 vision. But I really enjoyed the challenge.

I did not have the first part, I played the second on weak equipment and today I have no way to start it on w10. It's a pity I love this game, the turn-based system of conquering Middle-earth was more fun than the current Total War Warhammer

In the original bfme 1, after you lose a mission, you have to only restart the mission, not campaign. But in this version do we have to restart the entire campaign after losing in (for example) sam's mission?

The overall durability of goblins (and maybe even trolls) was increased to make it more difficult. Also right before the fellowships arrives to the bridge, there's a cutscene as they get surrounded by goblins, like in the movie. And IIRC, during the balrog fight the barlog used to fly leap away more often giving u a break and opportunity to time your lightning sword more easily.

If we look at the 3 og games made by ai then yes bfme1 has the best campaign without question. But if we look at every mod and patch then the aotr campaign is unequivocally unbeatable both in difficulty and detail.
