"W:O:A Acoustic Clash" is a bet between German Symphonic Metal shooting stars Beyond the Black & world famous Wacken Open Air's Thomas Jensen.
In the course of a 48 hour studio session the band had to arrange and record acoustic cover versions of 4 different metal songs. All of them chosen beforehand by the Wacken online community.
Either Thomas Jensen or Beyond the Black. Whoever loses the bet, is obliged to operate the barbecue at the next Wacken Open Air. All proceeds will be going to different charity organisations (to be announced).

Hi guys, I'm not a musician so take this for what it is, the opinion of a simple fan. As an unconditional fan of Sabaton I had always been disappointed by the covers of their songs. But yours is just fantastic! It's powerful and subtle at the same time. You have managed to make it yours while keeping the intention of the original version. The instrumental arrangements are simply beautiful and catchy and I like the way Jennifer uses her fascinating voice to convey the emotions. It is difficult to compete with Joakim on his field, he is so powerfully sensitive. But you have been smart enough not to try to compete with him. You have enhanced this song like only the best can do!

@@alucard87pl Hi! I've heard Amaranthe's cover. "82nd All the Way" is one of my favourite songs because it is upbeat and cheerful so it gives me energy. I'm not convinced by Amaranthe's version of it. I must admit I don't like growl too much. But I can understand that other people may like it. "Uprising" is a very emotional song too, I like it especially for it's history (even if I'm not Polish). You should continue listening to the other songs, I'm sure you will find some to your taste.

I generally have a hard time with Sabaton covers cause they tend to feel "lacking" compared to the original. This however was a fantastic one! You made the song your own in a way that really worked imo! :) So thanks to youtube suggestions I guess, cause now I discovered a new awesome band I hadn't heard before (by now I've been through the entire discography, and loving it ^^)
