My made up character, Kireina(I've made up multiple quirks for her but this is the quirk I gave her): I can make dying explosive stars come out of my hands Edit: I've now gave her a quirk called "Hardening Strength" and when she uses it she gets stronger and her body hardens to protect her if she gets hit Another Edit: If Kireina is angry she goes into her "Star" Form and she gets an extra quirk called Bullet Star which when the star hits something, it turns into a huge crystal spike ball thing

The line about Monoma's copy is wrong. He can copy any quirk perfectly, they're not weaker versions, some require build-up that he doesn't have at the time, but he can still copy it.

Monoma can't exactly copy "any" quirk. There are exception or "blanks" as he calls them (ie One for all and Rewind) he can copy the physical traits of quirks, but if the quirk is energy based, he can't copy it.

The issue is that quirks like Rewind and OFA are stockpiling quirks, so while he can mimic the quirk itself he doesn't copy the reserves the person's body built up. Like if he copies Eri's quirk and was able to hold on to it for longer than his time limit he'd build up his own stockpile and could use it to the fullest.

@@healinggrounds19 'Proof' might be a stretch; I'd say it's kind of dependent on the shot hitting the boning to fully stop bullets. Even outside the boning they still provide good resistance though. Definitely good for preventing slashes and stabs from getting through, too.

I also like to think that Monoma is an alternative Deku. Both rely on someone else’s quirk, and have to make it their own. Deku manages to take what he got once, and make it his own, while Monoma will always be dependent on the people surrounding him. It’s sort of a stretch, but this parallel has always been itching me, there’s gotta be some sort of metaphor behind it

Yui kodai (the girl from class 1-B that can make objects bigger and that kinda looks like a cute pizza delivery girl), Mt Lady and Uraraka were originally the same character at some point. This because the characteristics of both of them (Mt lady and Yui kodai) were part of the early prototypes that inspired the creation of Uraraka as a character. The original idea for the main girl of the series had Yui's character design and personality (reserved girl) since the story was going to be set in university rather than highschool (that's why Yui she looks a bit older than Uraraka) but instead of her zero gravity power, she had Mt lady's power and hero name. After a while, the concept for this original main girl (that included these traits) was scrapped when they changed the setting to highschool and created Uraraka's final character concept and design (that is younger and with a different power) and the aspects that weren't used in Uraraka were used in the creation of two other characters: those were Yui Kodai and Mt lady. That's why, if you look well you´ll notice that Yui kodai has a similar appearance to Uraraka and a similar power to Mount lady. And she also says "release" while using her power like Uraraka . Which was a reference to the fact that they used to be the same character at some point (the encounter that kinda looked like a hug between them is another reference to the fact that they used to be the same girl).

I’m pretty sure the dragon scale guy is patterned after a Jiang Shi, a type of Chinese undead monster that’s essentially a vampire that is forced to hop around due to rigor mortis stiffening them. The thing covering his eyes is modeled after the paper talismans jiang shi are usually depicted with.

Monoma doesn't make lesser versions of quirks, he copies them completely, the limit to his ability is that he has a time limit to what he copies (hence the timers on the extra belt) and he simply can't copy certain functions to some quirks, like extra limbs and stockpiling over time.

monoma doesn’t copy a lesser version, he just doesn’t have as much quirk mastery. His quirk is copying their quirk but that doesn’t mean he copies their skill with their quirk too. If someone had a quirk like for example bakugo’s explosion and he copied it, he copies it as it is. He just hasn’t used explosion before so he wouldn’t have as much output

For monoma he copies quirks, it’s only that some quirks he can’t copy to the fullest extent if it requires buildup or storing power. Quirks that he is not compatible with are duds. And he can only use the copied quirk he has one at a time and each has a 5 minute time limit, thus the clocks are there to keep track of time. Thing is his quirk is useless unless he has someone nearby, his only choices are stealing them or someone willingly letting him copy their quirk.
