We are sad to hear of the passing of our friend Scott Wright. We showcased Scott's wonderful LEGO creations many times over the years. Scott was a kind man, and he surprised us at Brickworld Indy 2018 with a very special gift. He had built a tiny castle alongside minifigures of us and him. (See it here: bit.ly/2R02nr1) We've collected countless LEGO items from around the world, but this small scene is one of our favorites. It has a permanent display spot in our studio. Scott's work was always popular, racking up more than 1 million views on our KZbin channel. Scott, you will be greatly missed by the LEGO community! ❤️

I love how Scott added more cannons to the Black Pearl. I have the original set and it only has two cannons per side which is pretty disappointing.

I like it too but he added a few unnecessary things such as too many windows or made the back completely square. Less is more sometimes.

Scott Wright you legend! this is a great moc! love the little extra details you added to your ships! can spot all of them an they really set them apart from the original sets! your fort is spot on to. can just imagine a lego version off the movie happening from the little ship slowly sinking as jack comes in to port and swan falling off the fort! great work!

Scott Wright A suggestion on the Flagship (or the Dauntless) is to give her a yellow stripe with red gunport hatches instead of the blue and tan stripe and hatches.

By studying the movie ( used the pause button a lot), and pictures I found on-line. The rest was using my imagination, staying as close to the time period as possible, and of course a lot of lego.

Bob Dickens due transportation problems the Flying Dutchman and Queen Anne's Revenge were unavailable for this show. Salazar's ship the Silent Mary is one I've not built yet, and will not have room for on the display. Thanks for your comment, hope you enjoyed the display otherwise.

Al Bundy Sorry to hear that,but as you know when your dealing with a licensed minifigure that represents a certain character of the movie you really don't have to many options . Hope you enjoyed the display otherwise.
