The way the water in the river is done is amazing. Not only are there proper river banks, with the water level below the landscape, but the blue transparent tiles which allow a murky view to the landscape below is so amazing. It's like you're looking into a real shallow stream!

The build is amazing Just one thing to be fully accurate, corn wasn't introduced in Europe until 1493 as it's a native American plant. In the middle what was cultivated was mostly rye and wheat one year, the second year barley and oats, during the third year nothing was cultivated to let the soil recover

Where did the minifigs with the spike-ball maces come from? There are so many cool vintage castle minifigs! I have 4 or 5 castle minifigs from my youth in the 1990's, but there are+ a few factions I don't recognize. It's just insane how FEW minifig torsos are printed today. The new Black Falcon knights and legs are great, but I'd be happy with direct re-releases of a lot of these older minifigs. Even just having scale mail with a green background and peasants with the same pattern but different colors of clothing would be amazing. I have a ton of pirates because I bought 2x Barracuda Bay and have a few from youth. Now the Creator castle has a pirate minifig. We need peasants, court ladies, serving wenches, wizards, kings, queens, nobles, and merchants, not just knights! Do more for the Castle community, Lego! I don't have $20 per minifig for vintage!
