As a big fan of The Bear and MCU, Ebon Moss-Bachrach will be exceptional in the role of Ben Grimm. Basically gets to do what Bradley Cooper does with Rocket Racoon. I think it's phenomenal casting. He can have that role for all time in a major franchise, whilst being able to do other dramatic / comedic roles off the back of the likely success of the film.

Reed was the only "Science Guy" in the FF. If they try to make everyone scientists like Trank did it will tank. The FF works because everyone is different. Johnny Storm was a teenager who was into cars. I don't know where the "male model" bit came from.

I really like Grace but man does she sometimes have the WORST takes imaginable. She would've preferred Seth Rogan as The Thing?! Nothing against Seth, but he's always Seth. I don't want The Thing talking and laughing like Seth Rogan...it was distracting and lazy for Donkey Kong already. And her argument is that Ebon is such a great actor that it would be wasted for The Thing?? Does she not realize that Thanos had so much gravitas precisely because Josh Brolin is a great actor? Yeah, the problem with casting Pedro is that people only see Pedro, not the character. He’s a great actor but idk why I have a hard time seeing the character he plays. He was great in GoT and I definitely saw him embody the character. After he got his cult following though. Last of Us. While he was similar to Joel, it did feel like he’s Pedro first before Joel. When I saw the picture, it felt like Pedro Pascal was just cosplaying. I didn’t even feel that when Michael B. Jordan was casted as Johnny and I felt that casting was dumb

Johnny Storm’s “Rock Star” persona was 90% his total attitude ( plus he raced cars and had the confidence one has with that, except for the crime part, he would have fit in with the early movies of the F&F), it was not as much that he was “male model”, but because is confidence was huge, his attitude was huge, he raced cars and such and he soaked in the attention.

Force fields are invisible until you touch them for example, the fantastic four worlds greatest heroes animated series episode where the Hulk was out there, fighting them, she put up a force field around herself and Ben. trying to keep the two of them from breaking Harlem. So when the Hulk was walking towards them, he bumped into her force field. And you saw it ripple almost like water. Then he started trying to break it. So it’s like when you touch it and you attack it you can actually see it. And there are force fields that are invisible but then, when you actually interact with them, you can actually see them. and I feel like that’s the best representation of her powers as far as the invisible is concerned. As far as emission of loosely, based energy, though, that she’s using to do telekinesis, and throwing discs and shooting bolts, I feel like that takes her power to a whole new level. I feel like yes, the base of our powers is invisibility, but what they’ve grown into after that can only be classified as a form of energy. And she can choose whether or not she’s invisible. She can choose whether or not her force fields are invisible. I think she can’t choose when she’s throwing discs or bolts whether or not they are invisible. But if she could again, like you said, that would defeat the purpose. I feel like her powers have to look cool, so we need to classify them as loosely based energy in the telekinesis department. I mean for chrissakes, Jean Gray shoots pink energy. in the comics lol. Jeans, telekinetic abilities have a pink energy quality to them no matter how she’s using them. No Phoenix force integrated of course, because then things starts to change. I’ve always felt the same way about Sue.

I'm excited for Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm, and the rest, well I'll need to see more to get excited for them. I would really like to see Ion Gruffudd as Reed one last time. I thought he was underrated casting and would've been a better cameo in Multiverse of Madness over the lame Krasinski one.

Don’t know why but fantastic 4 is my fave. Spiderman is neat and xmen are cool but I’ve always been hardcore FF . Past movies haven’t gotten them right and I really hope they knock this out of the park

Glen Powell was my choice for Johnny Storm. He would actually be on the same level as Chris Evans when he did the part.

If I was a Marvel writer/executive, I would establish that in the X-Men universe, the Xmen are like the Avengers, which in the main universe are also loved and hated. This would make the multiverse storylines more interesting in the sense that we don't need to have an Avenger team in every universe, but all the universes have their own heroic teams.

Vanessa Kirby feels like the only casting that fits the character. Pedro is a good actor but he doesn't physically blend into any characters he plays. Maybe as you said because he is overexposed.

I love this channel, it's my favorite when it comes to comicbook movies and shows but sometimes I really don't get Grace's thoughts. She keeps saying she's an X-men fan and yet she said she doesn't like the Claremont stories which are quintessential X-men stories. Now she's saying that Johnny Storm should be a male model. Since when? He's never been a top model level beauty in the comics. At best he could be cute like the teen heart throb actor out of some tv drama, which is exaclty what Quinn looks like. Johnny is not an Alex Skarsgaard. I like being informed by this channel but still a lot of the things Grace says get me confused.
