Can you do a tutorial on bead bezeled crystal stud (post) earrings? Maybe using 8mm chatons? I think a lot of people would like that because then they can either make simple post earrings or add on to the bottom of the stud to make dangle earrings with a post setting. Love your channel btw. Your tutorials are my favorite to follow. You make such beautiful beadwork and describe things so concisely that it’s easy for me to follow your instructions. ❤️

HI Stephanie.....this is beautiful! I did want to mention one tiny mistake in the video you may want to note: At ~10:13 you say when adding the 2nd 15/0 in the corner to go through the next 15/0. In reality you go through the next Delica. I know this video is quite old, but I just am discovering it now. You might want to note an Oops on the screen at that time stamp to give a heads up to viewers that you simply misspoke. thanks for all your great designs and tutelage.

Thank you so much Marie-Claire 😀🙏🌻 Don't be intimidated by any beading project. Just get in there and start beading! That is how I learned to bead. I just started with a pattern, video etc. and tried it. You will mess up many times but eventually you will love what you do! A little pep talk for ya!!! Sometimes I draw a design or I take a picture of a bead and then use the markup tool on my iPad or phone to create a design. Sometime I just wing it as well 😆

Stephanie, do you know of a reliable source that can be referenced for how many Delicas it takes to bezel various larger sized round beads than the 8 mm you demo here? I'm interested in say a 12mm or 14mm bead, using your pearl bezel technique, but with other sized focal beads. I'd hate to experiment and have to rip out since I got it wrong.

@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry4 жыл бұрын
I haven't done a 12mm yet so I don't even know if it will work out mathematically LOL You can try 6 - 11/0 Delicas and 1 - 15/0 four times or 5DB and 1- 15/0 four times. See if you get the pattern.

Stephanie, love these! One question though, I noticed you are using 7 Delicias and a 15/0 for a total of 32 seed beads on a 14mm Rivoli, we usually use 36 delicas on a 14mm rivoli, is it because the hexcut delica is larger? I tried 36 hexcut delicas as and it was too big for my 14mm rivoli Thank you
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry4 жыл бұрын
This bezel was the bezel from the Mother’s Day Bracelet video. It’s a square bezel on a round stone so the bead count is not the same as if you were doing a regular peyote bezel on a round stone. Watch the intro to this video as I explain it by showing the actual bezel 😊
