I'm dyslexic and I can't even link together the break down of how it's pronounced lol. German langauge is really cool though. I like how literal it seems, from my knowledge gloves are called hand shoes in german and there's other similiar naming conventions or whatever you'd call it.

Unbelievably, I was killed by Schräge Musik cannons last week. Was just lazily getting a daily task done with my P-61C, and I did a diving run on a plane I completely forgot had them. He put one burst into me, and I obliterated him, but he did enough damage to shoot me down. Wasn't even mad, it was the first time I've seen them work.

I’ve tried intercepting bombers with the schräge Musik cannons but you just get such little time on target and dual 20mm isn’t gonna do enough.

Honestly I prefer the Schrage Musik arrangement on the Japanese Ki-45 Tei, it's tilted forward quite a bit so you don't have to get right beneath someone, and most bomber players (which is what I tend to use the Schrage Musik cannons for) usually fly with their brains powered down making it easy to just tap them from below.

A tip for the Wfr.Gr.21 rockets is to learn how to use the revi gunsight, the markings correspond to different ranges, they can also be used to destroy open tops and SPAA in ground rb quite effectively

i use the bf-110 g4 in simulator battles to hunt bombers as intended irl and lemme tell you it shreds i feel like im heinz wolfgang sneaking up bellow them and use the schräge musik to obliterate them xD overall i belive the plane truly shines in simulator battles

The rockets on this plane are anti-air, not anti-tank. They level out 600m from the plane, so if you set the fuze to 600m you don't have to account for drop, and you've only got to lead and time your target. Still really only works on unaware targets, same with using the Schräge Musik against bombers from beneath.

Must admit that schrage musik is quite effective on Ki-45 tei. Shooting on 400m distance against multi engine planes is effective and its super effective against any not suspecting target in 2 circle fight

I think the Schräge Musik should be easier to use, the fact that when you switch to it the camera goes to a almost useless angle to aim them, straight up though the cannons are pointed more of an angle forward rather then straight up.

IRL it was way more maneuverable than in the game, everyone said it was very agile for a twin engine plane.

Context. Very maneuverable for a twin does not equate to being anywhere near as good as a single engined fighter. Most twins that the 110 was being compared to were the likes of Do-17s and other such aircraft. According to historical performance data what we have in game is very close to what the 110 was capable of historically. That said the DeHavilland Hornet was seen as very comparable to single engined fighters in terms of maneuverability and in game it isn't close so something is clearly going on. What is it? Gaijin's dirty little secret in this regard is that many aircraft are pulling more Gs in game than they could historically. The worst offender at the current moment is the A6M series. Historically no A6M could pull inside the turn of a P-47 pulling at it's max at 300mph IAS. In game? The A6Ms can do that effortlessly up to around 450mph IAS. The A6Ms were locking up so early historically by deliberate design. The airframe was as light as possible meaning that it wasn't as strong as necessary to endure high G turns. Knowing this Mitsubishi deliberately made it physically impossible for the pilot to pull enough Gs to cause the aircraft to rip apart due to high G forces. Something Nakajima didn't do with the Ki-43 causing some early crashes due to attempted high G pullouts and the plane subsequently ripping apart due to the light airframe giving the Ki-43 an early negative reputation in IJA squadrons. Fly the Ki-43 I and II and you can rip your wings in high G maneuvers. On the flip side A6Ms can pull more Gs than the Ki-43s, which they shouldn't be able to do, and don't have rip concerns at all. (Edit: A major criteria for the A7M was that the Japanese military wanted it to be able to pull more Gs at high speed without risk of the airframe ripping apart. The A7M succeeded in this regard being able to pull more Gs than any A6M historically. In game? The A7M compresses before the A6Ms.) Nobody cared about this problem at all until the F-16A was added to the game and it couldn't outturn aircraft it fully should have been able to. Rather than noticing what the actual problem was, that the other aircraft were pulling more Gs than they historically could, the player base blamed Gaijin for using a very restrictive G-limiter profile on the F-16A. With many single engined fighters pulling more Gs than they should be this means that aircraft that do have closer to realistic maneuverability feel like absolute bricks. So it isn't so much that the 110 was more maneuverable historically so much as it is many other aircraft in game are pulling more Gs than they should. During WW2 pulling 7 Gs was really hard. Pulling 8 was extremely difficult.

The one big issue I have with this plane is that it can't bomb bases due to the Spaa put at bases at this BR

Flying low enough and flat just above the trees (or flanking the base from a hedge, yeah it's ridiculous)can do the trick but the bombload isn't always enough to take out a base depending on the uptiers. All in all the rewards aren't all that great anyway and you're better off with the free Bf-109 from one of the previous Battle Passes just a little above this in Br.. Way better performance which is actually competitive at its br., i also prefer it even for groundpounding because it has more accurate better aligned guns but the 110 has the upside of the infinite ammo from the tail gunner which is good enough but usually redundant as you don't want to stay in one spot for the whole match killing GT-s. Most of the times though i don't bother taking this plane as the F4 and the Tundrabolt/Stalinbolt are way better SL farmers.

What's really annoying is that the low tier SPAA are absolute snipers that set you on fire from 2km away ..At higher BRs radar guided ones literally can't hit you.

As a BF-110 lover, here's my 2 cents on the G-4 in war thunder: it's OK. Just ok. In RB it suffers as it's radar isn't very useful and there are very few strategic bombers at it's BR. The whole job it was designed for is null and void because of this. In SB, it's marginally better as your poor climb rate is nullified and the radar helps in hunting recon aircraft and the once-in-a-blue-moon strategic bomber, but by the time your radar spots something, you likely already see it with your eyes. If there were night SB battles, this thing would be a beast, but sadly not. If anything, once you do get a bead on something or someone, they're done. No discussion. TL;DR: if you want a low tier radar interceptor, fly the Black Widow. It does everything the Bf-110 does but better.
