First, the actor playing Patrick’s dad is terrific. Second, the last part of the video made no sense. The reason someone is transgender is because they feel, both emotionally and physically, like they are trapped in the wrong body. It’s called gender dysmorphia. Edward was only a female on the outside until he transitioned. Transitioning would have included taking testosterone, and having top and bottom surgery. These steps are not taken lightly, and can take years to occur (going from assigned gender at birth, to full transition).
