I was looking for BF Goodrich advantage control vs The unity Uniroyal tiger paw touring AS. You have helped me make up my mind. For my 2005 Ford Focus it's gonna be the Uniroyal.

These tires on my Volvo S60 and I hate the stupid things. They developed cupping in under 10k miles and they are loud, so much so that I thought I had a wheel bearing issue. They're wobbly and can't keep a balance. I've had them balanced by different shops. It's easy to blame the car for the cupping issue, but I've had my suspension checked out at a few places and there's nothing wrong with it. Alignment is perfect too. Puts me off of ever trying BG Goodrich again. There is one positive thing I can say about them though. They have grip for days. I haven't slipped at all in heavy rain or wintry weather.

Pros and cons to everything but you must have tires. I got these tires... I don't know but what I do know is they seem to be great I've got no complaints so far I hope they love me long time 🎶😍🍜🌏🚙

I was between this tire and the Cooper Adventurer Control. I have a 2018 Elantra and live in Florida so wet traction is important and high temp. Snow not important at all. I will be looking at the general a/t now as well.

I’ve hit curbs, knocked down crosswalk poles and these tires were fine😂. 2013 civic! Tires were on the car when I got it and I’ve put 50k miles on them. Replacing with same tire today

I Just installed a set on my 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited, 215/55/R17 size for just a tick under $700 (including installation, fees, and taxes) at Costco. They replaced the worn Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and I'm pleased so far. In SW Florida so heat and rain climate... no snow.

I bought some All Weather tires, but want to switch out for the summer. I have a 328i xdrive, turbo 4 banger. I saw these are quiet, handle wet weather pretty good and still do dry weather well. You mentioned a couple other tires, but for hugging some corners, maybe I need stiffer sidewalls. Only downside is that seems like it'll be noisier. Tire shopping is tough.

Hi Matt, Great tire review. I wish all tire salesmen would explain the details. I have a 2004 Toyota Avalon and have had BFG Advantage tires on it for about 7 years. Can't really complain as they have provided good service. Just curious what you might recommend as an alternate as I believe BFG has dropped the Advantage T/A.Thanks Mitch

I think I may go back to BFG/Michelin for awhile. I was on a goodyear kick for awhile, on on the car the last couple were Motomaster (Canadian Tire company),and they are just about as good as a chinese tire. Time to go back to some good tires. I had a previous version of these on a crown vic back a long time ago they were a good tire.

OKay, came across your video because I’m in need of tires for our vehicle: 2010 Dodge Journey R/T. And when I went to a local tire shop, this was the tire I was given a quote for. Four questions. You say watch it. Is that still the case 3 months later? If not, what tire would/do you recommend? I can’t afford multiple season tires so it has to be an all season touring tire. Last question. But it’s a 2 part question. We have low miles on this vehicle. Not even 50k. Do you recommend also replacing all 4 TPM Sensors as well? If so, do you agree with buying my own and having the place install them? I’ll save like $20 on each one going through Rock Auto. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

They would be fine. I would choose the Uniroyal Tiger Paw though. It's a better tire at a lower cost.

Hi, I have an 07 corolla and I've been having what might be issues with these tires. I've been having much slower acceleration, 10-15mpg less than normal, and cornering takes more effort. This is a very well maintained car coming from a set of Cooper cs5 grand touring all seasons

Did you mean you are getting 10-15 miles less per tank of fuel or actually per gallon? If in fact it is per gallon then it is not the tyres that are the issue.

Hi Matt, Question: with a tire like this where it has a life of 75k miles and a wear rating of 700 do they get hard and glazed about halfway into the life expectancy? I've experienced this with Toyo tires about 15 years ago on my truck. I've had a tendency to buy tires with a 50-60k life and a tread wear number in the 500-700 range so the tires wear out before they harden up. Don't know if that still holds true for tires today given the advances in rubber compounds especially for premium tire brands.

Yes. This still holds true but tires have gotten much better with their compounds so its not as bad as it used to be.
