Y’know, I used to play CoD. I played CoD 4, MW, before I played bfbc1. So, I knew what a bad batch of characters could work together and be cool at it, though, I do find them funny. Sweetwater was my favorite, besides Haggard, I think. I liked Haggard because he was the comic relief. Sweet water reminded me of myself a little bit. I was a little bit of a nerd.

bad company 2 was probably the best in the battlefield series overall. Yes, the graphics are dated, but the maps, the gun sounds, the amazing destructible environments thanks to the FrostBite Engine in this game were amazing. As for Call of Duty, I still have a soft spot for CoD 2. The last good Call of Duty was CoD 4/Modern Warfare. The recent CoD games are actually not bad, but just nothing really innovative or really worth noting.

This is what I like about Battlefield. It has an identifiable soundtrack. When you hear that "Dundundun dun dun dun", you think "Oh hey, this is Battlefield!" And although I have to say that most Call of Duty soundtracks are pretty powerful, the fact that they don't have an identifiable ring like BF and Medal of Honor through their games really kills it for me.

True, I love fighting through villages and by the end of it, it looks like the apocalypse collapsed all of the one-story buildings and attics, every turret blown up, and a dead tank in the main square. In BF3 you don't get that same effect anymore

And that's why you get snipers of your own to kill them, I remember one game where in a small forest me and two other snipers where duking it out with two other snipers, a medic and an engineer, trying to constantly out-maneuver them and always trying new tactics to kill them, (mortar, draw them in and flank them, be stealthy etc.) but then our tank just came in and flushed them out :/

I've been playing battlefield games since BF 1942 but I think BC2 was one of my favorites, I liked it more than BC 1 and BF3 even though I have more than 100 hours on BF3. I just wish people still played BC2 online, i join games with one or two people constantly...

well, to contest a point, there is the vulcan cannon (only tanks and some aircraft can use it due to its weight and power) and the minigun, there is no vulcan minigun, they called the minigun the minigun because it was a shrunken down vulcan (Mr. Trololol position usurped)

I miss this game. It's so much better than BF3, no online pass bullshit, the guns were balanced, the classes made sense, it required teamwork, and the game wasn't just a big battle of who-spots-who first hide and seek.

not confirmed yet, they rarely give dates years in advance, but DICE has said the Bad Company series isn't over, and there only Planning on DLC release through 2012 for BF3, there gonna need a new cash stream for 2013.

Magnum was available to everyone after a certain level, which isn't hard to reach really, and you have body armor to cancel it's effects, and you can also equip expl. dmg instead of magnum. So again, it's balanced.

this game could have been so much more, when i hear this song it reminds me how epic this game could have been, this is one of the best pieces of modern music yet, but the game could have been the best shooter of the time, but the campaign lacked that epic feel and the multiplayer looks and sounds amazing on paper but lacks something and i could never figure out what, it just feels like its missing something. oh and i 100% agree with kevlar60442, guys, GROW UP! they're both great games.
