Map by TrueSpirit. The best designer I have ever seen. The work of this person is as detailed and realistic as it can get. Only FH2 map designers are in the same category. They emphasize realistic infrastructure, making maps look like a war zone and not a post card.

It's the same old BF2 with better graphics and good playability and a little bit of reality. This project started in 2007 as a consequence of Novalogic's game Joint Ops coming to an end. Joint Ops supported AAS (Advance And Secure) gameplay, where players capture flags in a specific order, leading to intense battles. BF2 Vanilla was not successful because it only involved base swapping. A person developed AAS support in a Python script for BF2 in 2006, determining the sequence in which flags should be captured. This made BF2 playable. The mod is primarily designed for multiplayer but also has single-player support. I created the mod to keep a group of friends together who had been playing together for many years, starting with Delta Force and progressing. New games like BC2, BF3, and BF4 divided our "clan," and those with the most time ranked up, leaving those with full-time jobs and families falling behind. Additionally, the challenge arose that new games require powerful graphics cards and CPUs. The only way to save the clan was to create a mod that didn't require extensive playtime for unlocks and could run on low-spec equipment. My mod focuses on playability, humor (taunts), a bit of realism, and the best graphics possible. It was never my intention to publish this because I had objects in the mod from other active mods. They are now discontinued, and I use vehicles from PoE and other mods, as well as objects I have received from designers. I feel that I can't discard this and take it to the grave with me. Incredible work has been put into this, and Battlefield 2 players worldwide should have the opportunity to use and enjoy the mod. I choose to publish this when I know I have fixed most of the bugs.

This mod can esaily be ranked along side with project reality and forgatten hope by simply looking at it everone know this take years to be created ‏

Believe me, if I had spent as much time reading wise books, I would have had several doctorates in different things. I had no idea what I was getting into when I said, "I will create a mod that retains playability with a certain level of realism." I am too caught up in small details like sound and effects more than what is good for me. This has consumed 17 years of my free time. Whether it was worth it, time will tell. It has been fun most of the time. Thanks for the inspiring comment.

My dedicated host server runs on XP OS and Intel Pentium Quad CPU but don't tell anyone... I think I can compare my mod to Forgotten Hope Requirements due to HD textures etc. Here are the Forgotten Hope System Requirements (Minimum) CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent. RAM: 4 GB. VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX650ti 2GB or AMD equivalent. DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2048 MB. PIXEL SHADER: 5.0. VERTEX SHADER: 5.0. OS: Windows 10. FREE DISK SPACE: 2 GB. They also write this about FH2 "The minimum memory requirement for Forgotten Hope is 4 GB of RAM installed in your computer. If possible, make sure your have 8 GB of RAM in order to run Forgotten Hope to its full potential. Provided that you have at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti graphics card you can play the game. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 is recommended in order to run Forgotten Hope with the highest settings. To play Forgotten Hope you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core i3-2100. Whereas, an Intel Core i5-2500 is recommended in order to run it. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 2 GB of free disk space available." DICE system requirements from 2005: CPU: 1.7 Ghz * RAM: 512 MB. GPU: NVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 Mb of RAM ** DX: DirectX 9.0c. OS: Windows XP (32 Bit Version) or newer STO: 2.3 GB free hard drive space or more. Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible." I found this with a quick search "Battlefield 2 requires at least a Radeon 9800 Pro or GeForce 6800 GS to meet recommended requirements running on high graphics setting, with 1080p resolution. This hardware should achieve 60FPS. System memory required for Battlefield 2 is 2 GB performance memory. Recommended needs around a 18 year old PC to run."
