@@therock6878 The point of a filler episode is mainly to expand upon the character dynamic in a more casual manner, this episode is "not a waste of time" BECAUSE IT LITERALLY CONNECTS THE PLOTHOLES OF BFDIA AND TPOT. No elimination doesn't mean anything, this kind of thinking is the reason why Total Drama sucks after s3 because the writer decided just to make every episode an elimination without a breather episode. The series is already well known for its chaos, TPOT 12 was chaotic af and it's also a competition but this episode was written much better than it because of the time constraints of a challenge is nonexistent.

Not too say kid shows are bad but I wanted to watch the actually game they are playing. The point of us eliminating characters is that their storyline is supposed to end. US and viewers get to decide who’s storyline progress or not and I loved that about this show, now they are ruining it giving sap story’s too characters we booted a year ago

@@therock6878 ? That doesn't make sense, the creator DECIDES how the story goes. The viewers are there to direct the way the story unfolds but the writers can do whatever they want bruh. These are first and foremost, CHARACTERS, they are supposed to be filled in and written. Not to get thrown out the window once they didn't make the cut, especially when Coiny, Pin, Leafy, and Fiery are literally considered to be the main characters. Having eliminated characters get a spotlight matters because people also love them??? there's a reason why people say some characters are robbed out of their time. II changed to contestant voting instead of viewer voting because they eliminated a character that was robbed out of their writing. Bfdi managed to prevent that by still showing the eliminated characters their own time as to not make them just background characters that didn't get any progression. Also if you just compare this to "drama for little kids" then wouldn't that make your take on "progression in competition" the same thing because you need the setting to move along with the plot so you can catch up with the storyline?

And if the writers wanted characters to have storyline they would have don’t what inanimate insanity did and switch into the contestants vote. I understand they are trying to give more story to the videos but, for me, ruined this episode for no reason.. they could have at least done the elimination than did the other crap.

1:21 what’s interesting about Rocky barfing again is that unlike in BFDI, it’s unremovable. In BFDI, golf ball simply broke the machine within Rocky’s mouth, but the enhancement ray added it to Rocky. Just like the TLCers, it’s gonna be there forever.

4:24 another plot hole that bugs me is that Ruby claims in IDFB 1 that they’re on day 1127 of their video diary. But that isn’t possible, as BFDIA 6 is when Day 1 happens, despite that not being nearly long enough for IDFB to happen 1127 days after. I have a feeling the writers will figure out a fix for this though, as they’re doing a fantastic job wrapping everything together.

I think that this means she isn't going to get her limbs back until shortly before idfb because it's super unlikley she'll temporarily get them back just to lose them before getting them back again from golf ball.

my personal theories as to how idfb will connect to bfb - the wall teleporter might be more powerful than expected, being able to teleport multiple people at once (either that or it'll gradually get more powerful with every use) - if you lot vote tv to be the next one to rejoin when the time comes, the rejoining aspect of idfb could end as early as idfb 3! - i think liy, stapy, and foldy might probably be the last living inhabitants of yoyle city, or might just be visiting (idk how they'd get there) - another transformation device might probably give everyone the hand drawn limbs and faces from bfb somehow (it would have to happen in idfb) - we might probably see more of winner and loser before they split off in idfb (they likely split off when the art style changed) - someone might build new recovery centres everywhere - evil leafy might probably be stopped somehow

it'll be really difficult for them to patch up the timeline. idfb 1 happens just after all of the bfdia 5 episodes because it's revealed that puffball gets eliminated in idfb 1. the only way they can fix it is to delete the current idfb 1 and wait until the end of bfdia before doing idfb there. plus there's the problem where announcer mentions in bfb that there was 2 unfinished seasons, so the timeline is extremely screwed up right now and there's not really any way to fix it unless they change several of the episodes already in existence. they kinda screwed themself over there and I wish they'd just have continued idfb which would have caused the least amount of paradoxes in the timeline, but they'd still have to change the announcer-talking-about-2-unfinished-seasons bfb episode. I just think that it would be nice to maybe see something like announcer get crushed at some point during bfdia and not have him recovered during the rest of it, and maybe do the same thing in idfb if they continue that too because then it fixes the bfb announcer problem. even in he doesn't mention it in bfb, it could simply be that he just didn't notice he died because they'd remove those memories from what might be his disk space (since he's a machine and he can remember things, he'd have to store them there.) it would also tie up a loose end on where in bfb donut wrote in his diary on how he saw the insides of a speaker box, since there could be some showcase of how they work in bfdia or idfb. also, time to stop typing.
