They are so amazing, the mix of dry humor and sincerity is perfection 👌🏼

When I was listening to that clip of the Frog & Toad film, I initially thought Frog's voice sounded like Howie Morris. One story that sticks with me is the one where Toad has a bizarre dream about being a stage actor, and Frog is in the audience, but suddenly Frog disappears, leaving Toad alone. It was freaky! Also, haha, in "The Letter" they used *Snail Mail*.

Dreams are weird enough without being Toad's dreams, haha

Frog and Toad, and The Story of Ferdinand were my favorites growing up for the very same reason. Fun fact, the author is a gay man. This is very cool because many gay men growing up feel a special connection to the frog and toad series to later find out the author is also gay. Kinda shady of you to leave that out tho lol

I love this, Ferdinand is one of my favorites as well! I actually knew that about the author, but decided to leave it out as it didn't directly relate to Frog and Toad (though I know there is some speculation that it was an early and subtle "coming out" for Arnold Lobel). I do hope to do an author spotlight on him soon and will definitely include that in his bio!
