I watch a film the other night about the Dorsey Brothers, which was most enjoyable, but listening to this kids, they can certainly give them a run for their money.

On Perfidia, those reeds are jaw-dropping. The trombones beautifully capture the spirit of the Mods.
At age 84 this music is still the greatest music my ears have ever heard.

What a wood wind section. I watch hours of the many wonderful musicians from Japan and are amazed each and every time. Please keep posting these wonderful concerts.

Bands version of Perfidia is one of the best. Long gone big bands would be so proud to see how these students are carrying on the best years of jazz and easy listening music. Just bought a 50 inch smart TV so I can watch and listen all day long.

SO LOVE THEM, AS I DO THE 40's BANDS, JUST AS GREAT, I was a multi instrumentalist in The Royal Navy Band, UK. After leaving I was a professional entertainer, for over 40 years, and a radio presenter as well.

Always a dance favorite, my feet won't stop moving. Wish my wife was still alive to hear this and help me roll back carpet. Keep up the great music of the 40-50's.
Perfidia is just superb. They really got a sweet mix of the instruments in that. I remember my parents dancing to it while we were all awaiting Sunday dinner. Glenn Miller version, of course! ..Joe

This is so incredible. These kids are so far beyond amazing! This style requires a deep understanding that is well beyond the years of these young people yet they got it. I remember my high school dance band days and this brings back sweet memories. Keep on young people! You are a treasure for us.

Absolutely fantastic! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Great song selections and arrangements. The soloists were ALL amazing, in particular the boy on the trumpet.

What I really love about many of the high school jazz bands in Japan, versus the brass bands, is the players are allowed to “wail” especially the soloists.

How can you contact a band member just to say hello and congratulate them on a great performance? Like to talk to the short trombone player.
