BFS PERCH LURE FISHING

so in sure you can tell the video didn't quite go to plan but plans changed and it still made for a good watchable video so here it is.

Thanks man glad you enjoyed it. And the rod or the reel ? The rod is a major craft benkei and the reel is a tsurinoya xf50. And yeah totally man gives the lure more action too then a jig head you get a nice belly wobble with ewg hooks

Try using Kahira titanium wire trace, it's ultra thin and super flexible, I think 20/30lb is about the same size as 4lb mono. I seen River Piker using it so I got some for perch when pike where present. Hope this helps, love the show btw✌

I use the 6lb test on my bfs , the 12 test on my jig rod ,for heavy pike lure fishing 28 and 40 , which you can tie with a 3 turn blood knot

It's fluro not mono and I just like to tie direct and keep my presentation as subtle as possible with finesse fishing. Fluro or mono can be harder to use but I just like to use it on some set ups

big carp catcher hi, the weir is still there below the bridge at newlay I was there a couple of weeks ago and caught a decent number of chub, loads of minnows and something that I couldn’t stop on 6lb line I’m going to go back with the spinning gear and see what’s in there
