I feel like this song works really well for him if you convince him to NOT go through with the ritual; the last bit of the song seems hopeful/peaceful, like good has overcome evil even if that victory had a price.

I think the contrast between the story and the lyrics works fine for my telling of this version of Astarion's fate, since story doesn't always end good. Ascension is indeed a desperate and mournful path to take, and he'd been fighting for his freedom whatever it takes, sometimes fear would take over and the shadow from one's past would not be vanquished easily. I sure love it when he makes the rightful decision and no doubt I'd make videos for him in this fate soon, but that in the video is another possibility.

On killing Orin you’ll need to get the amulet of Bhaal from Serevok, he will ask you to kill the elephant, do it and you'll have this scene.

When you finish your tasks killing Orin you’ll have to get the amulet of Bhaal from Serevok and choose between taking the life of the elephant or not. Kill the elephant and he’ll let you have a blood bath 😉

@@rumithe322 What happens to Astarion if he takes that bloodbath? I assume becoming an "assassin of Bhaal" and killing that flying elephant planar creature is an evil choice?

@@TF2CrunchyFrog you can get the amulet and a great armour for him as a rogue, any other in the team can take the bath and it doesn't make a huge difference, but sure that you lose your aid from the elephant in the final battle and you might feel bad doing so. You can even kill all the other bhaal believers after you kill the elephant. Idk what would it effect if you play dark urge though.
