kayla, unlike many other girls on this show is coming from severe poverty and neglected neighborhoods. her tough demeanor is a natural defense mechanism. I admire her strength but she needs support outside of this show, it only amplified her internal conflicts.

I always loved Kayla. It did seem like she had her guard up a lot and had trouble trusting other people, but she really cared about her friends and obviously had a good heart. She was honest and blunt and wanted others to be the same with her. I'm glad she's doing well now. She matured and grew so much as a person. And she was the star of her season, even long after she left the house. This is why they were all so relieved she left, she was taking attention away from them just by being herself.

Kayla had her issues with Tiffany being lighter (colorism effect) and Tiffany seemed to be intimidated by Kayla being more vocal than her. I wish it was different because they would've had a great friendship.

Kayla was such a unique Bad Girl. You could tell that she lived a tough life, and the BGC was probably her first gettaway away from her rough environment. She was the star of BGC 3 (along with The Ambers) and the house runner while she was there. When she left, BGC 3 went to utter shit. Kayla was the life of her season. I would definitely add Kayla to a BGC Hall of Fame.
