মাউন্ট এভারেস্ট ওঠার অনুমতি পাওয়ার আগের যুব সমাজই বেশি আত্মবিশ্বাসী ছিল,, আত্মবিশ্বাসি বা আত্মনির্ভরশীল হওয়ার জন্য মাউন্ট এভারেস্ট জয়ের দিকে তাকাতে হবে না, অনেক উদাহরণ আছে।

১৯২৪ আয়ালে ম্যালোরি, অরভিন এভারেস্ট জয় করেছেন, এটি প্রমাণিত নয় এবং তারা সে সময় এভারেস্ট জয় করেছেন, তা বলার অবকাশ নেই। বলা যেতে পারে যা তারা সেসময় এভারেস্ট জয় করেছেন কিনা, তা কখনোই জানা যাবে না।
