I remember one of my junior did an Smart thing, he completed his MBA from IIPM in year 2006, after which he got enrolled into IIPM as an Assistant Professor (leaving offers of various MNCS) in Marketing research subject and secretly went for MBA from IGNOU,in those days attendance wasn't compulsory in MBA classes of IGNOU only clearing of OPENMAT exam was needed. He very smartly did both things, means covered his fees and living expenses from Salary that he got from working in IIPM and obtained an valid degree from IGNOU in Management, i met him after completing his degree in 2009 when the ho-hallah against IIPM and Arindam Chaudhary had begun and asked him about this thing, so he said to me that "I got an hint of the fact that IIPM isn't an genuine institute during my London workshop(also arranged by IIPM during its study tour) so I decided to first pull back what I invested in IIPM via working in it only and obtain a genuine degree side by side" By the way in 2009-2010 he had left working in IIPM and went for another Job elsewhere.

I passed out from IIPM in 96 and have a good career and i know Arindham taught me. I worked for Companies GE, HCL, Oracle , Steria and held VP level position. So it depends on person to person and at that we knew that it is not recognised by education board.
