ये तो तालिबान सोच रहा कि कट्टरपंथी हिंदु नीतियों वाली भारत सरकार जिसने पिछले 10 सालों तक अमेरिका के दबाव बिना किसी कारण हमेशा तालिबान का विरोध करती रही , क्या वो अब साथ देगी , क्योकि तालिबान कभी भारत का विरोध नही किया या कभी कश्मीर जैसे भारत के आंतरिक मामलो कुछ नही बोला। लेकिन भारत अपनी कट्टरता की वजह कभी निष्पक्ष नही रहा तालिबान को लेकर। जब अमरिकी आर्मी थी , तब तक तो भारत ने अफगानिस्तान में तालिबान की सरकार को कभी मान्यता नही दी , लेकिन अब सीधे अच्छे सम्बंध बनाना चाहते है।
