Bhaang at Ujjain 2016 Kumbh Mela

Bhaang or Cannabis due to its special properties in the leaves and seeds containing THC and is beneficial in giving relief to the tired and exhausted devotees and the many sadhus who intend to achieve deep state of meditation and go in Alpha state to receive the benefits of the Yoga. This very ancient ayurvedic drink is also used together with a combination of dry fruits called Thandai, which is very delicious and instantly refreshing the mind and body of the devotees of Lord Shiva. Bhaang is associated clearly with Lord Shiva and is a good medium to achieve very deep state of meditation. Though unfortunately this Ayurvedic plant is now banned due to the pharma lobby, the people of India are aware of the various benefits of Hemp and though it is not permitted by law the same cannot be totally banned by the Government.
