Hi Prof. Bhadeshia, Wonderful lecture and it is a new way of teaching phase transformation. Great teacher and scientist. One thing I noticed, which is not a big deal, that the picture you showed for Tesla is actually for Dmitri Mendeleev.

Hi professor Harry, I have a question, if we take 2 sheet of amorphous metal and stack it , meaning they are in physical contact with each other and heat upto crystallization temperature. Do crystallization propagate from one sheet to another

If the temperature is uniform, then both can crystallise simultaneously. But suppose one sheet crystallises first, the crystals can only influence the other if the contact is intimate.
