Beau’s 2nd Birthday, Family Traditions & Exploring Kahalgaon - A Heartwarming Chapter of Our Bihar Journey!
🎉 A Special Celebration for Our Little Champ!
This vlog begins with a glimpse of the beautiful Satyanarayan Puja we performed at home to celebrate our son Beau’s 2nd birthday. In the evening, the party continued as we decorated the floor with balloons, cut a delicious cake, and shared the joy with our near and dear ones. (The feast was amazing too, but we kept it short and engaging for you!)
🏡 Exploring Kahalgaon: Nostalgia Meets Discovery
Next, we take you on a tour of Kahalgaon, showcasing some key spots like the new shopping complex, PTS, and the peaceful Shiva Shiv Mandir. We also visited the NTPC Township, a major highlight of this town.
🌾 A Walk Down Memory Lane: Shobhnathpur Village
Our journey continues to our ancestral home in Shobhnathpur, where we participated in a soulful 24-hour Ramdhun at the village Ram Mandir. The serene vibes were unforgettable. We also prayed at a small, beautiful village temple 'Mahakar Baba Sthan' nestled between lush fields, which we reached by walking alongside my mother, Shweta, and Beau.
🚧 Development in Progress: Munger to Mirzachowki Four Lane Road
A major highlight of this vlog is a closer look at the under-construction Munger to Mirzachowki four lane road, which passes right through our village. I explained the challenges faced by locals who had to part with their land for the project and shared the hopes of the community for this road to bring economic growth and development. We even explored the work-in-progress flyover and discussed its importance for the region.
🚗 Tyre Troubles Fixed & More Family Visits
Remember the left rear tyre issue from the last vlog? In this one, I finally replaced it! Later, we visited my maternal grandmother’s home near Shahkund, where we joined the Chhath Puja celebrations - a festival close to every Bihari heart.
