The Bhagavad Gita Sanskrit: bhagavad-gītā, lit. "The Song of God") frequently alluded to as the Gita, is a 700-stanza Sanskrit sacred writing that is a piece of the Hindu epic Mahabharata (sections 23-40 of Bhishma Parva).
The Gita is set in a story structure of a discourse between Pandava sovereign Arjuna and his guide and charioteer Krishna. The Bhagavad Gita is the best known and most popular of Hindu texts,with a special skillet Hindu influence.The Gita's call for benevolent activity enlivened numerous pioneers of the Indian freedom development including Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Mahatma Gandhi; the last alluded to it as his "profound word reference".
