In general , if we integrate 1st question where theta varies 0 to 2π then it will be 0 but by residue theorem it yields π/2 . How the value of any integral changes by different method. It is impossible

In your starting lecture, you said that we have to calculate residue at those points which are "inside the circle". But then in your first problem, you calculated the residue on the singular point which in on the circle boundary. How you justify this?

Hello Sir, I hope you will read this comment with a positive attitude. My only aim to do this comment is to spread correct knowledge. No doubt you have explained the things in a very short, clean and clear language. But I found some serious mistakes in the thought lecture. Here are some of my points 9I will also give a credible reference to my points) - 1- Residue Theorem is applicable only for the singularities inside the closed curve. 2- No singular points should be allowed on the closed curve over which we are calculating integrals. If there will be any singularity on the curve then our curve won't be realized. Hence, no integrals can be calculated. 3- The strong form of Residue theorem strictly doesn't allow any singularity on the curve and also seeks some other requirements like Index of the curve. 4. Even the weak form (which I can consider for this video lecture) didn't allow the existence of any singular points on the curve. 5- Curve with singular points can be integrated only under one condition (the curve should have a simple pole and that too on the real axis). Such curves are treated with "JORDAN Lemma". For the motivation of my points 2, 3 ,4, 4 please refer "[Jerrold_E._Marsden,_Michael_J._Hoffman,]_Basic_Complx analysis". Page no 256 - Strong Residue theorem (Precise Residue theorem) Page no 257 - Weak Form of Residue Theorem Page no - 283 for Jordan Lemma. There are other methods you can find in subsequent sections of this book. This book is free and easily available on the internet. If you didn't find please ask me on "[e-mail]".
