Bestest rendition of pt.bhimsenji joshi of hindustani version of saubhagyada lakshmi baramma i ever heard ....although we kannadigas sing in another tune which i love from childhood i am used to singing in that way. But the power that pt.jayteertha and pt.Bhate have rendered here is so much to another level that wherever that divine goddess Lakshmi is ..she would run n approach them...for sure

I tooklong time for this to sink in. Both are very good singers of Kirana Gharana. Let God give them lobg life so rasik shrotas can enjoy for long.

This is Pt. Joshiji's version of Purandardasa composition which appears to be Vibhas ragam in Hindustani or Bowli, the close Carnatic equivalent. It could be another close ragam and a professional here could confirm. The composer had originally set it to Madhyamavati (Madhyamad Sarang in Hindustani)
