Swamiji I’m Hindu but I haven’t found a explanation still. We are particles of God and we all seek to merge in God. But swamiji why did we separate in the first place ? Why did we come to exist in this world, in this external world of maya ? It is Gods creation some say but it still doesn’t make sense . 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The 'soul' is defined as that entity which has 'eternally' turned its back to God, i.e., there never was a time when the soul was united with God. It is eternally separated from God. The soul is a marginal energy (tatastha shakti) of God unlike Maya or material energy of God, which is an external and an inferior energy of God from which the whole material creation has come into existence. Because we have eternally turned our backs to God, we have eternally faced Maya which is the external energy, and we have come under the control of Maya. Because of His causeless mercy, God creates the world and He then sends the souls to the world with body, senses, mind and intellect. The soul itself is 'akarta', means it is non-doer, doesn't perform any action. It needs a vessel or a machine to perform actions. That is why God has provided the soul with body, mind and intellect so that the soul realizes its original identity and endeavours to become God-realized, i.e., to turn its face towards God. The soul has to do it by its free will. God has manifested the Vedas in this world so that the souls may understand its identity using the intellect. God also sends His Saints from His divine abode to this world who can help the souls understand the divine knowledge of the scriptures and help the souls engage in spiritual practice by using the mind in order to realize God, to attain Him and to attain His infinite Bliss for all eternity.
