Bhangra Empire @ Warrior Bhangra 2014

Representing California's Bay Area, this is Bhangra Empire performing performing at Warrior Bhangra 2014. Established in 2006, Bhangra Empire is proud to share its roots with the Bay Area community, while showcasing its talent worldwide as one of North America’s premiere dance teams. From the White House to America’s Got Talent, from the Golden State Warriors’ NBA court to the World Series Champion SF Giants’ MLB stadium, from an overseas performance at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London with 5,000 viewers to an overseas performance at the Formula One Grand Prix in Bahrain - Bhangra Empire strives to set a new standard in entertainment, bring Punjabi culture to the mainstream, and take Bhangra to every corner of the world.
Warrior Bhangra 2014 was held at the Bob Hope Auditorium in Stockton California on March 29 2014.

For some reason, I long assumed that they were separate and that the Urals and Caucasus were a result of them pushing up against each other. I guess that's a childish oversimplification of geography as I was taught something along those lines at school. Politically though, there is some general commonality (EU, EEA, Schengen etc.) in spite of many rifts and disagreements.

I'm white, but I'm in an asian studies class, and we're currently on the India unit, and she introduced us to Bhangra. I sincerely want to go to college for Bhangra, because its so much fun! I usually don't smile very much, but when I do this stuff I'm always grinning and laughing, even in my room alone. I'm never happier than when dancing. I recommend it 100% (unless you have bad knees or hips, lol)

@@nothanks4954 thanks for appreciating. That's why they say Punjabi know how to party because of bhangra alone. It's good to share it with the world. some dances like Morris dancing can be quite different and I found odd but river dancing is crazy with the skill needed for it so I rate them. Some other dancing like that from Jamaica can be a too adult and seem inappropriate but bhangra is just fun for everyone and good work out plus the music is great. Salsa can be too intimate and I can see people could be shy or uncomfortable. No twerking either or other strange inappropriate dances that should only be for couples
